i thought bass actually did a good job
who else besides bass and petrius were going to guard him without fouling out pierce? you act like there was all kinds of options
Having dumbass Pietrus guard Lebron
having bass guard lebron
choking again in playoffs without thibs
42 games under .500 before kg and ray came
most overrated coach in the nba

I forgot Ray Allen even played for the Celtics this series.
I can't believe they had Bass guarding Lebron, wtf?? And Pietrus ought to be able to give Lebron problems but he's too ing dumb.
daniels actually played well earlier then they quit using him.
Celtics did fine this year. Without the Decision, they would have been in the Finals again, and gotten curb stomped by the Thunder.
Doc Rivers got the Celtics, with a banged up Pierce and no Avery Bradley, to a tied fourth quarter of a Game 7 in the ECF. Did anyone predict the Celtics to go this far?
I think I see the next pink candidate for my July vote.
the only game daniels played significant minutes was game 3 and lebron dropped 34/8/8 16 of 26 i think its safe to say daniels wasn't locking him down or anything
bass was able to force james into a couple of bad shots because his size and strength prevented lebron from just barreling right through the defender per the usual...i'm sure boston was just desperate and mixing it up, trying to find something that worked. james was pretty much unstoppable that whole series.
Please tell me any significant move Doc Rivers made these playoffs. Please when the Bulls lost Rose the Celtics had the easiest rode to the ECF against a untalented 6ers team. Had one of the easiest match ups in the 1st round with the hawks. Yeah the Celtics were in the 4th quarter of the ECF but they were also up 11 in that game at a point yet choked and a huge chunk of that is due to Doc's failures to make adjustments. Oh and what was it game 2 when the celtics were having success with the double team then in the 3rd quarter Doc stopped using it which led to the huge heat run. If you say oh DOC played zone i'll laugh cause the Heat had success against that zone. See them easily splitting the zone in the ECF game 7. If DOc was such a good coach then why did does his team have an issue closing out games out home. Couldn't close out philly in game 5, atl got a win and a sub .500 road miami heat team came out and undressed Doc. The success of the Celtics is due to Rondo who put the team on his back. His progress is mostly due to playing with KG and Pierce more than anything.
Explain why DOC has not looked good without Thibs there to cover his ass. Explain why Jim O Brien had a worse roster in 2001 then Doc has had in his whole career as a Celtic and too that team to the ECF that year. Lmao Thibs saved Doc's dumbass for years.
you mean getting outcoached by doug collins in round 2 then choking in ECF games 6 and 7? yep props to him.
Exactly. Props, for sure. No Derrick Rose or not, the Celtics overachieved this year, largely due to Doc.
what moves did he make in these playoffs. Somethng beyond motivation i'm talking something tangable where people can point to and be like oh thats what he did. i've already given several examples where he messed up yet no one has provided a tangable example of where he succeeded.
