And it's not even close.
Dude you a clown. STOP. You making me look bad.
it's not fair we got cheated, we're good enough to win it all
We need Kevin Garnett because we're not good enough to win it all

Doubt it happens hee also, i just donīt see him coming here while is pretty obvious that if he goes to Miami they are almost unbetable.
But, if he wants money, the Spurs can offer him more than most teams. Because the somehow could offer him a 2 year contract starting at 7 millions and still offer Duncan a contract starting at 9.
Plus, while i agree Duncan may hate Garnett, both seem very compe ive players and will do whatever if they think they can be put in a position to win, and that would be playing together.
Not going to happen.
Yep, as if Patrick needs someone else to make him look bad.
And another
Nice research. Although, the second one with MGK and Kawhi was a joke.
But wait, how does this DMC guy even know my name though? Weird
I doubt KG goes to the Spurs, but IF he does the Spurs will have a much better shot at beating OKC to get to the Finals next year. Not one of the bigs outside of Duncan produced vs OKC, and yet there was still an opportunity to win the series. Insert KG into the lineup and I think we come out on top.
KG would be a dream scenario for the Spurs tbh. Too bad that the chances of it are close to 0.
Duncan hates Garnett, Garnett hates Duncan..it would be spitting in the face of Tim to bring him here.
KG already won a ring. The Celtics were near of reaching the finals this season. He will retire in Boston.
KG is chasing the money, wtf would he come here when his already got a ring
dude is 10m short of amassing 300m career nba salary
I don't think Garnett hates Duncan, but Duncan certainly doesn't like Garnett. I think it would be tough for Timmy to put aside his personal feelings.
From a basketball standpoint, Garnett would obviously help the Spurs, but I don't think it would ever happen. I'm not sure the Spurs would be high on KG's list -- he will probably try to go to OKC.
I think you couldn't be more wrong. Tim Duncan is the ultimate professional. You think he can't get over some personal feelings to make his team better? Come on.
I think it would be a great move because it is precisely what the Spurs need: a 7-footer who can score and play defense. Tim Duncan hasn't had that since David Robinson left. Wouldn't it be beautiful if Tim could finish his career the same way he started it, with a competent partner in the paint?
We need to bring back the Twin Towers.
Question, how do retirements work in the NBA? Could we feesibly offer him the max MLE of $20m/4 years on the understanding that he would retire after 2 and he would still get paid the rest?
I don't think any other contender would be willing to sacrifice cap room in the same way. After Timmy and Manu retire we will need to start rebuilding through the draft anyway because no marquee free agents would come here, so cap room is somewhat expendable
Since KG lives in Mailibu, I could see him hooking up with the Lakeshow.
I'd love to see it happen, but it probably will not.
Garnett could very well retire.
I expect that depends on how much he thinks of himself as a Celtic, and how much he cares about his Boston fanbase. Leaving the Cs to join the Lakers wouldn't exactly be well-received.
Frontcourt rotation would be:
4 Duncan
5 Garnett
Bench
4/5 Splitter
4 Blair
4 Bonner
Assuming Diaw would be gone. Garnett makes so much sense, likely to want a short term deal and is seeking another ring. Would address the major problem for these Spurs which is interior defense.
Garnett is no center.
