As it stands, The Mist is the best adaption of a King story/book IMO.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat. The Mist was almost nothing like the story. The Stand was WAY better. 5 day miniseries that aired on regular TV back in the day and was extremely true to form. The Green Mile and Stand By Me also are way better.

But the best was Shawshank.

There are plenty of great movies out there. I don't know why people about bad movies being made. Don't watch them. There's probably more good movies being made each and every year these days than ever before.
