Durant throwing a hook 'em at game 1 of the finals while being introduced.
Yeah, that was awesome. I was watching around a bunch of Sooners and screamed hook 'em when he did that.

Quotes from 2014 OL Demetrius Knox after Sunday's camp (OrangeBloods):

"Basically I just wanted to show I belonged there," Knox said. "As I was doing the drills and everything coach (Stacy) Searels took me out of my age group and put me with the first o-linemen who were doing the one-on-one's first and that he was using as examples and stuff. It felt kind of cool to be with all the top o-line recruits for UT and doing all the drills first."

"It was great," Knox said. "He (Searels) really doesn't act his age. He acts like a 20-year old man. He's upbeat out there. He kids around with us a little bit and he's dedicated to winning a national championship this year. They're all about their business up there at UT."

"Coach Beck (Knox's high school coach) told me to call them tonight and I called coach Searels and he told me I'm a great player and did great today and basically how I've been cleared by everyone to be offered by UT," Knox said.

"Nothing has really changed at all because its UT, of course they were always high on my list," Knox said. "But I'm not trying to think about that right now. I'm just dedicated to winning a state championship this year with my team."

    Quick question.

With Massington to USC, Rhodes to Baylor and Samples' situation a bit tricky, do you guys think that the staff might look the JUCO way for a WR, or just continue to evaluate Samples and/or try to flip Rhodes?

If it comes down to A&M, UT and LSU for RSJ then I kinda like our chances. Just because of the offense we run.

I think he's more likely to go to LSU; however, if we can get coach Cyprien to talk to him, who knows? That man is a recruiting monster - he put together an amazing basketball class.

I think Manning is coming by tomorrow, and I've read elsewhere that some think the fact that Chevis committed to us might help with Manning (I guess they're friends or something).

It will be hard to land Manning IMO. He will end up at OU.

I think RSJ will end up an Aggie if it comes down to the three I listed. Just a guess.

I just don't see why TAMU would be the favorite, I truly believe its LSU then UT... Him rooming with Swoopes at the five star challenge may do the trick.

I just think the offense that we run is much more appealing for WR's. We have our good share of QB's coming in as well. (Matt Davis, Kohl Stewart, Kenny Hill)

I could be wrong but I think if Sumlin and Kingsbury play this right he could land here.

A&M is a player but LSU has the built-in advantage with RSJ's AAU coach having connections to the school in some way. That's pretty much how this whole thing came to be but crazier things have happened. He may like Sumlin's pitch like Ridgeway did.

Quotes from 2014 WR KD Cannon after UT's summer camp:

"I think the highlights were my 40 time and the one-on-ones," said Cannon, who clocked a 4.40. "In the one-on-ones, it was just the corners I went against. There were some great corners there but I think I did very well against them."

"I just showed them how fast I am, how I can catch the ball really well," Cannon said. "My strength is my speed and I just have a way of getting separation in tight coverage."

"The coaches were just telling me to work hard. They said they don't like to offer sop res but they'll get me an offer when I become a junior. It was great. I got to see the bowl game rings (Mack Brown) had, watches, trophies, he even has a Lego Longhorn helmet."

"With Texas, I like their receiving coach (Darrell Wyatt) a lot. He came down to see me during spring football and I've been liking him since then," Cannon said. "He was teaching me different moves to get off the line, making my routes a lot better."

"I want to make sure the school I pick is a perfect fit for me," he said.

I'll be surprised if Texas lands RSJ at this point and even more so if A&M does. I think LSU is clear leader and new teams will surface in his recruitment that will have legitimate shots.

It would be the recruiting shocker of the year if Manning went anywhere but OU.

I understand that there are great players coming in and we know of Sumlin with Houston but how do you know how good your offense is?? Don't you have a new coaching staff?? I know that last year I had NO clue what we were going to get with Harsin as our OC. I mean, I had an idea but I wasbt for sure.

Besides that, I do think Aggies chances with RSJ are pretty high.

Even if RSJ committed to the Ags, I wouldn't be surprised at all if he decommitted again to go to LSU or somewhere else out of nowhere. He doesn't know what he wants - whether he wants to play football (at WR or TE), basketball, both sports or what.
