That market size is not indicative of finals ratings, despite what Spurs fans have been claiming for the last decade.

I don't think I have ever cared enough about ratings to make up excuses about why they were low, not sure if anyone else here has ever defended why they are low

Ironically, I think people are tuning in with hopes of watching LeBron and the Heat lose again.

I wasnt here talking "smack" when the Suns swept the Spurs in 2010 (last time both teams played each other).

Im just glad OKC is FINALLY putting an end to the stupid "market size" argument for why no one watches the Spurs.

OKC and Miami is not about markets anymore....

    its about Lebron vs. Durant.

this is the NBA tryinbg to prove to everyone the star driven, rigged system makes $$$.

.....because the league promotes to hip hop black teens. parker, duncan and ginobilli + unassuming beahvior + market size=doom.

How we won those other championships I have no idea.

Had a lot to do with your opponent in 93, trying to make history and being the first team to threepeat since Russell's Celtics. Plus that guy named Michael Jordan being the most popular player in NBA History.

Man shut your ass up. You are giving too much credit to lame ass spurs. People are tuning in to watch the Heatles. You think people really give a about ol' pizza face ass Durant or frogger? They are watching the King, Wade and whoever else is on that team.

The Defense was that the Spurs have a small market.

Game 7 should be the most watched game in NBA history.
