That was a very entertaining second half and a good reaction by England after Sweden went up. Walcott's impact was huge. Sure, his goal was a bit lucky (his shot got deflected as well), but the way he initiated the third one was great - he was using his pace the right way, which he should do so much more often.
Carroll had a decent game, in my opinion. He gives a team that struggles to play creative offensive football an option where to go to with the ball up front. Young, on the other hand, has been rather disappointing so far. I also like how Johnsohn has been very focused defensively while still being able to provide some offense as well. Cole has also been good. Gerrard is clearly far away from being at 100% after ths injury-plagued season. He had a lot of bad passes, but he is a fighter and always able to provide a moment of brilliance.

That was what you could expect. But the last game was really bad. No fighting and all.
I'm not big soccer fan and I had not much hopes for them advancing to the QF

I remember that in friendlies against USA and Mexico, Poland had poor games. So, I didn't expect them to do much.
