It already declined when OKC got rigged into the Finals.

No matter who won/wins this year, it's a lose/lose situation.

Miami wins, Heat haters are unhappy.

OKC wins, Stern rigged them to the le.


Neither one is good for the NBA. Though Heat winning is probably better because Stern rigging the WCF will be spotlighted less.

I will be happy for Lebron. But one le wont make this a complete success. The Celts got one le and 2 Finals appearances too. Complete Success would mean 2 les minimum. But Lebron validating his greatness is a good thing.

I did some thinking and have come up with an interesting thought. The NBA's popularity may not decline or decrease because Heat haters which take up about 95 percent of NBA fans willl want to see the Heat fail miserably as defending champs.


NBA fans will be watching because they will want to see the Heat not repeat and miss the playoffs. NBA fans will be thrilled if the Heat finish next season with a ty record like 30 - 52 or 41 - 41.
