I know all this talk about needing a center/athletic power forward, but instead of resigning Green, what do you think about signing Ray Allen? He would be put in the perfect situation, starter, contending team and he will definitely get his shots

    Tony/Neal
    Allen/Manu
    Leonard/Jackson
    Duncan/Splitter
    FA/Diaw

The guy has nothing left in the tank. Greatest 3 point shooter of all time no doubt about that, but if the guard position is what the Spurs are looking to fill, younger and more athletic is the way to go imo. Just considering Manu is up there in age too and just as injury prone as Ray Ray at this point.

Not to mention his "stifling" perimeter d

Well he does fit into the category of former great player that is so old he can't guard anyone anymore, but he can shoot threes for the first three quarters of every playoff game.

He'd be a lot better than Brent Barry, honestly.
