Holy ...that last tension cut with him opening the doors. That was the worst trailer I've seen for a reasonably anticipated sequel in the last 10 years (and probably ever).
How was this an anticpated sequel? The first one was really good and did not scream sequel to me at all. This looks so bad it's not even funny.
I'm still going to watch this anyway. I just love people blowing up things and cool action stunts, and this movie will most likely have those. And it's Liam ing Neeson.
I don't know about the plot but as long as the twists make me think, I'm good with it.

I felt the same way about the first one. The first movie wasn't even worth watching at the theater. I caught it on HBO and thought it was a good watch. A sequel never even crossed my mind.

Looks like it will predictable, but as long as they do a good job with the fight choreography it should be worth watching.
Looks terrible, but movies with Liam Neeson as a bad-ass always win.

What happened? The singing career didn't pan out so she resorted to doing tricks and happens to get kidnapped again? If I'm Neeson I'd let the bit get triple penetrated this time around. That'll either teach her or prepare her to further her career in the sex industry be it porn or walking the calle.

They themselves know that a sequel to the 1st one is redundant, it's just the same movie with different scenery and different action scenes. But they know the movie will generate a nice profit.
so ing what? Schindler's List (solely a dramatic role) and Batman Begins...that doesn't exactly warrant that much enthusiasm

The trailer could have been better, but I'm sure I'll still see it (there's frequently nothing but garbage in theaters anyway - this might be entertaining).
The worst part was 'They're going to take your mother. Then they'll take you.'
I guess in Taken 3 we'll see the line 'They've taken your mother. They're going to take you... and your little dog too.'
There were some unfulfilled possibilities in the first one, like the Dad's war buddy group...I figured they'd blow some some up together and when they didn't, that was the first thing I thought they'd have in the sequel when it got announced. It's REASONABLY anticipated because of the potential of where it could go, but it's obvious that potential went straight down the ter. Bet they spent 20m on it and will make at least 120m.
Or probably the villains are going to take a group of people as hostage and make Liam Neeson coming for them.
She was such a dumbass in the first one, I'd let her ass get taken in the second.
