There's nobody. None of these guys want to be villains. LeBron doesn't want to be a villain. Dewey Howard doesn't want to be a villain. They all want to be liked.
We need a Barkley or a Laimbeer or a Duke-era Christian Laettner- someone that relishes being hated.
Maybe if the Timberwolves turn into a contender and Kevin Love keeps stepping on peoples' faces he can fill that role.

LeBron still will have a lot of haters, same as Kobe. They should be 1a and 1b (interchangeable).

LeBron still has an entire city of haters going at him so that counts for something. And as the NBA's newly crowned ultimate alpha male, he will be hated at rival cities.
That would be part of it, but also because the haters want to see him fail. They want him to fail, so they can use the * card and say 2012 was a fluke season. The haters will always find reasons. I am looking forward to that.
