So I was wondering, what do you make of this latest evidence?
Nothing to make of it. I know that blog was tearing him up on what he could and couldn't remember from that night but I gotta ask you...have you ever had your nose broken? I have, playing basketball and I can tell you that it's a game changer. I remember going up for the dunk, I remember seeing Mikes hand coming down on my face and I can guarantee you the next ten minutes were a ing blur.
I have thought that Zimmerman will lie to stay out of trouble since the bail hearing.
I also find the autopsy that says he was shot through the ventricle which caused his lungs to be gorged with blood and Zimmerman's claim that Martin told him, "you go me" " I see you have a gun now" etc after he shot him do not jive.
Now if he did say those things either it was through a frothy gargle or he said that before he was shot. Maybe he never said it but I do not believe for a minute that Martin was talking to him like that after he was shot through the heart.
its difficult to know what to think because Zimmerman's account has to be viewed with su ion from front to end because of his behavior.

I would be interested to hear what a doctors take on the rate of blood flow into the lungs after a ventricle dumps into it. I do not know enough about anatomy to say for certain but it doesn't add up to me.

It's a little bit tough because at the police station Zimmerman's holding his head at an angle that's just completely not straight plus it looks like he lost some weight around his face between the questioning and his arrest. Even then the lack of blood, the way it "healed", and the general look of it just don't convince me.
But anyway, based on the photos I'm not buying this idea that he was beaten within an inch of his life and since I don't trust his words, I'd want to see a medical report before I'd accept that his nose was completely broken to that extent.
His doctor (who he saw the next day) simply acknowledged the possibility and referred him to a specialist (who I don't think Zimmerman saw). From what I've read his next best bet would be to have an x-ray or a doctor showing a closed fracture but at that it'd be tough for him to prove that the kid was the one who did it at this stage since he didn't get it do ented right away.
I could certainly buy that it was sore and bruised some but I also wonder if gun recoil isn't a possibility. That scratch looks like it's a little off to the side.
Looking at these photos as compared to the accounts Zimmerman gave to the police, I find it easier to believe that he exaggerated his injuries to be honest.
I personally think he's guilty of a crime here and if I was on the jury I'd be a lot more comfortable voting Murder 2 than I was a few weeks ago.
I definitely get what you mean though. I'm thinking that this means the jury will have to disregard just about everything he says and look more at the physical evidence as well as the witness accounts imo. Though if he takes the stand I think the prosecution has enough to impeach him.
As an aside, I have to admit that I was completely wrong about the Sanford Police. Serino's a good detective and Singleton's an excellent interviewer as well. They both look like stereotypical cops too.

Yes, he thinks he can do better. I read in an article that since he aspired to be a cop, he was able to go on a ride around with some officers throughout the day. After the ride around he said that he was disgusted by how they work and how lazy they were. I'm on a phone so I can't post a link right now but it's there.
Very nice breakdown. A lot of us pointed out these incnsistencies and got ridiculed for it.

A day after killing Trayvon Martin, George Zimmerman passed a police lie detector test when asked if he confronted the teenager and whether he feared for his life “when you shot the guy,” according to do ents released today by Florida prosecutors.
According to a “confidential report” prepared by the Sanford Police Department, Zimmerman, 28, willingly submitted to a computer voice stress analyzer (CVSA) “truth verification” on February 27. Investigators concluded that he “has told substantially the complete truth in regards to this examination.”
Zimmerman, the report noted, “was classified as No Deception Indicated (NDI).”
Along with questions about whether his first name was George and if it was Monday, Zimmerman was asked, “Did you confront the guy you shot?’ He answered, “No.” He was also asked, “Were you in fear for your life, when you shot the guy.” Zimmerman replied, “Yes.”
Before the CVSA test, Zimmerman--who was apparently not accompanied by legal counsel--signed a Sanford Police Department release stating that he was undergoing the examination “voluntarily, without duress, coercion, threat or promise.”
The lie detector test was requested by Chris Serino, a homicide investigator with the Sanford Police Department.

One that quickly comes to mind is your continued insistence that Zimmerman stalked Martin when it has been pointed out multiple times to you that by definition what Zimmerman did was not stalking.
