40/18/9 in Game 4 against the Pacers
45/15/5 in Game 6 against the Celtics
26/9/12 in Game 4 against the Thunder
26/11/13 in Game 5 against the Thunder
Those numbers remind me of 1994 Olajuwon or 2003 Duncan.

Lebron is better than Jordan. There I said it.
LeBron's biggest weakness has always been him not knowing when to take over the game. It's almost ironic that it took him 9 years to realize that he is just so much better than anybody else.
This year, at least this playoff run, he seemed to have figured it out; and that is he can take over the game any time he want, and he should do it at the end of every game.
I am not saying that if Lebron applied himself last year, the Heat would have been the champions, because that is a disservice to what the Mavs (and particularly Dirk) did in 2011. However, if LeBron stays in attack mode at all times, and has a semi-competent supporting cast the rest of his career, I can see him winning multiple championships, and challenging the top 5 of all-time spot despite his less than stellar record from years 1 through 8.
Lebron could be the GOAT, but he won't be because it took him so long to figure it out. If he figured out his strengths and become more selfish over the years, he could have been the GOAT, but it's too late for that now. Right now, I see Lebron ceiling as the Hakeem, Shaq and Duncan level, not the Jordan, Magic, Jabbar level.
People might think i'm reaching, but IMO Lebron has surpassed Shaq & Duncan on the all time list. Hakeem is below these two. He's only got MJ, KAJ, Kobe, Russell and Magic to surpass and when it's all said and done he should surpass atleast two of those five players barring any injuries. Only MJ rivals Lebron's peak period. Lebron has been the league's best player since 2007.![]()
Sorry but Dream was a better player than Duncan. It's a wash between him and Lebron IMO.
LeBron has been clearly he best player the last 3 seasons and a top 3 player for at least 3 seasons prior. I have said many times he has GOAT potential but let's not go to far or become prisoners of the moment. Everyone was sucking off Dirk last June too. LeBron to me easily surpasses any one time champions as a alpha male. Bill Walton, Dirk, Kg etc you can argue LeBron leaps all of them with this le. But Hakeem, Duncan Kobe Shaq is still above him for now.
LeBron has been clearly the best player for 5 years now bro, and arguably 6. How could he not be clearly the best player in the league in 09 when he led that team to 66 wins? I don't think anyone else could have gotten them in the 57-58 range much less a historic season like that.
Read what I wrote ... clearly for the last 3 and a top 3 player for at least the rest. I also factor in regular season and playoffs and in 2009 you could make an argument only Dwight gets that shaky Magic team to the Finals. If you are arguing LeBron still edges Dwight, Nash Kobe etc. I'm not arguing against you just saying the past 3 seasons he was clearly the best. Clearly to me means by far. Cavs success in a weak East doesn't give him bonus points in my book he is great simply because he is a dominant player. If you give him so much credit for their success then he woulcd deserve blame for them failing as well. For me in 2009 he was probably the best but it was closer ...since then it has been clear.
When did he fail them? He averaged 38.5 PPG on 49% shooting, 8.3 REB, and 8 AST in that series with Orlando, not to mention stealing game 2 with that circus shot three. LOL @ calling it a weak East like the New Jersey and Philly days when Boston won 62 games and Orlando 59.
