i don't know if the state will argue that. he's been caught lying already, along with his wife.

prosecution and defense should probably stay away from the test.
I misread what you wrote. You're right, even if the test said he was deceptive it can't be trusted.

Defense will probably play it up though, imo. All the jury needs is reasonable doubt.

I dare the defense to use it. Then you can call the CEO to the stand and it's game over es.

It's reasonable that we all lie, but when he was asked about that night in particular, the machine that the enforcement officials used said he didn't lie.

    That's huge.

I can almost guarantee the defense uses it.

he also said he was afraid while sitting in daddy's truck, yet he got out to follow him.

defense should stay away from the lie test. so should the prosecution.

Prosecution has no reason to use it.

Why would the defense want to stay away from using it?

Why not? He already publicly stated that the lie detector has not been proven to work.

because results only prove a false positive. inadmissible as evidence. the prosecutor could ask if he was hooked up to one when he lied to the court.

CEO's like to sell their product, even if the courts don't allow their results.

It's admissible at the court's discretion.

At this point, tbh, it might not even be worth the effort to even try to get it admitted.

I think of note the question is, why would a guilty person agree to take a lie detector test before he's even had a chance to talk with counsel.

if you're the defense, your client has already lied to the court, along with george's wife.

it would be best for the defense to avoid anything with the word "lie" in it.

take a closer look at george. he lives a miserable life, lives with mom and dad, has nothing he's earned himself, has a checkered history, and lives vicariously through the only power trip he could attain.

Sanford police: Zimmerman passed up two chances to talk to Trayvon
    4:16 p.m. EST, June 26, 2012|
By Rene Stutzman and Jeff Weiner, Orlando Sentinel

Just-released do ents show that Sanford police didn't believe everything murder defendant George Zimmerman told them about what happened the night he killed Trayvon Martin but they had no evidence to disprove his self-defense claim.

"Investigative findings show the physical injuries displayed by George Michael Zimmerman were marginally consistent with a life-threatening episode as described by him," wrote police Investigator Chris Serino.

Still, Serino in that report faulted Zimmerman for twice passing up the chance to tell the 17-year-old that he was a Neighborhood Watch volunteer, something that may well have defused the situation.

The paperwork also reveals that Sanford police concluded that Trayvon was running toward the townhouse where he was staying when the two confronted each other.

And it shows that they believed Zimmerman was following Trayvon, something the second-degree murder defendant initially admitted but later denied.

I have to say, that was a good article. Martin was definitely in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was there at the precise moment where George was so angry that he failed to stop burglaries as a captain prior to the shooting that he wasn't going to let it happen again. Because the burglaries were done by black males, he profiled Martin. He figured his assessment was right because he spotted other su ious activity prior to the shooting but failed to stop it when he was actually right about them.
