    http://espn.go.com/nba/truehoop/miam...l-playoff-runs

Jordan made it four times - tough to argue against.
Shaq twice - I would argue 2001 run should rank Shaq higher
Lebron actually ended number 2, which doesn't look that good, as the Heat wasn't all that dominant in the playoffs. But his stats were really eye-popping.
Hakeem, Duncan and Wade rounded out the top 10 - not much of an argument from me.

    Pretty good list.

95 Rockets, tbh. They played/beat the top 4 teams record wise without HCA. That alone makes it the most impressive.

Count me in on the '95 Rockets. Every team they beat in the playoffs was capable of winning the le that year, IMO.

The piece is on individual runs, not team runs.

    Hakeem then

He destroyed Robinson, then dominated Shaq

    It's no small feat

    Houston 1995 takes the cake.

Thunder would have been near the top had they won this year.

Look at the article. You can't place Dirk's '11 higher than any of those runs.

I'm in the minority, but I actually thought Dirk's 2006 run was better than his 2011 run..the 2006 Finals, particularly Wade, changed the perception of Nowitzki's run..

Jordan in '91 is easily the best of all-time, no other run is close..

I don't have any problems with the list, distinguishing the performances from 7/8 to 14/15 is challenging IMO..Kareem in '71, Bird in '86, Magic in '87, Shaq in '02 and Nowitzki in '11 deserve strong consideration..

Moses Malone in 83 deserves some consideration, can probably switch out Wade at 10.

The other ones doesn't get much of an argument from me, although I think there are too many Jordans. But it's sort of hard to switch out Jordan because he was really that dominant.

On the loser side, 93 Barkley was great, too bad he ran into 93 Jordan.

    Great quote btw:

One could argue that points per game should be the ultimate barometer, but the currency of basketball is efficient team scoring, not individual scoring.
