The Spurs look better in the draft than the other Texas teams and they haven't drafted anyone.

The Indiana Pacers select Miles Plumle with the 26th pick according to sources
I thought Larry Bird left the organization.

    Plumlee 26? Whoa.

Jones would be the pick......at this spot steal of the decade. He can play like a 3 at the 4.
He has the skill to play like a 3 or a 4, but he WANTS to play the 3. So much so that he doesn't wanna play the 4 because, guess what? He's afraid to play in the post. It's the main reason why he didn't have any production in college to show for his skill.

It would be disappointing to see the Spurs stand pat, but I will be pleased if they pick an American player at #59, I don't want another euro, & I'm not high on Lorbek. The only euro I'm excited about is Bertans.

Least eventful draft ever. Not a single decent trade.
I thought the Mavs trade was damn good for them.

Seriously? Then, yeah, this pick makes sense. Classic Bird reach.

“I’m doing the draft; I love the draft,” Bird said. “The draft, I put a lot of time in it. My staff has put a lot of time in it. There’s a lot of activity, a lot of action. I want to do it.”

I predict Perry Jones pulls a Rashard Lewis Part II:

    1. Slips to the second round
    2. Cries like a when interviewed
    3. Becomes pretty good player, makes teams eat for passing on him
    4. Gets ridiculous contract he can't possibly live up to
    5. Team instantly regrets bloated contract

Was hoping the Spurs might get him.

(BTW, NBADraft.net has these picks listed about 5 minutes before they happen.)
