Is that through a root?

Nope, haven't got around to rooting my Evo LTE yet.
Just using Minimalistic Text and Simple Text together with LauncherPro. The taskbar words are actually folder icons.

Doh, I assumed you had just used the same stuff you had on the Evo.
My exact thoughts. Improvements made but previous improvements dropped. This is the case with a lot of new phones. Why the one x simly did not have a removable battery and sd slot seems ridiculous. Its almost like they didn't want to make a perfect phone.
The battery I can deal with, but the sd slot is really annoying. I know you get 25g of dropbox, but im one of those people that dont like my stuff in the clouds. Also, if I lose signal, I lose access to alot of my stuff.

The Evo LTE has a removable SD card slot and a lot of other little improvements to the One X base model.
HTC One X+ coming out, presumably in early November.
1.7Ghz Tegra 3 quad Core (allegedly with LTE in N.A.)
64GB RAM
2100mAH battery
An incremental upgrade for the One X, but might end up being my next phone (from the S2).
Comes with JB too
I was leaning towards the HTC One X (I can't get over the SIII's blue tint to the screen) but I may now hold off until this one comes out. Funds were about the last straw in making my decision, but with this one coming out, I can wait and save up a little more money to get it.
64GB RAM? Not even PCs can do det .![]()

Yeah was reading this at work. It's an exclusive to TELUS in Canada though, !
Kiss my ass, no one bothered bringing it up (until NOW) so I didn't bother correcting it.
BTW that Engadget review made me think a little longer about getting this phone. I liked the original one X but needed more space, so I should be happy. But having to buy this off contract for full price and the phone not having a newer chip might be enough to make me keep my S2.
By the way, the LG Nexus Nexus 4 will be available on the Google Play Store around 350 $(canadian page)
Good price. If it had more space, I'd be all over it, tbh.
