My ty team has a base and direction finally. I stay loyal to my ty team unlike bandwagon fans like you.
Still, LOL @ Roy Hibbert making only $3 million less than LeBron James.![]()

What direction? Joe Dumars still hands out bad contracts like candy, B...
Yes, he gave out two bad ones a few summers ago. One is now gone the other comes off next year. Next summer they will have lots of space and three nice pieces in place all under 23. Also get back to me if your team ever wins something and stops being in the shadows of the Lakers.
better than our board being full of front running gots.
thinking a no superstar team has base and direction
unstable coaching
same thing was said when you signed Gordon/Villanueva
overrated GM
So....when are the Rockets going to create that super team?
getting asshurt
using what happened over 20 years ago and a fluke season in 2004 as a response
thinking any of those young players will be anything more than a typical all-star but no where near superstar level
piston fans comparing Stuckey to Wade
Enjoy your championship but I know you won't be around when they are coming down and The Pistons are stepping on them in 5 years.
With what superstar?
Drummond won't be anything more than an all-star at best.
If Drummond turns out to be an all star, DET will be very damn good with det front court.
Still no superstar.
Stupid. They should've drafted Drummond instead of Lillard.
In think the morons truly expected Drummond to slip all the way to 11, and when he didn't, they drafted the inferior Leonard as a consolation. . .now they're kicking themselves so badly over whiffing on Drummond that they're going to offer Hibbert 30-40% more than he's probably worth? facepalm.
If Hibbert got the max, Bynum is licking his chops right about now.![]()
We didn't have a super star in 04-05 or the five straight ECF. Brandon Knight is going to be a very good player to go with Monroe and Drummond. Those kids are all very young.
04 was a fluke year.
05 Detroit only got in due to Wade getting hurt which proved to be true in 06 when Miami dominated them.
07 they lost to a 1 man team. While 08 was the best team in the Saunders era, they weren't elite that year either.
This is a superstar league. You need those to win a championship. 2004 doesn't change that. Andif Knight ends up being Detroit's best player. "Very good" will only get you so far.
Cornholing the Lakers and then coming 12 minutes from repeating is a fluke?![]()
Good offer by the Blazers tbh. Hopefully Indy doesn't match. We will be HUGE next year.
Miami was up 3-2 on Detroit(After Miami dominated them in game 5) and then Wade got hurt . This gave Detroit life back. 2006 proved that Detroit got lucky in 2005. Miami handled them pretty easily that series.
Yes. Cornholing a team with as many issues as the 04 Lakers had wasn't THAT impressive.
The Lakers were a good team loaded with Shaq and Kobe and Malone. No one gave the Pistons a shot going into that series. The fact that the Pistons raped them and basically sweep them sure was a fluke.![]()
pretending they had Malone when he either played on one leg or missed games completely
pretending Kobe wasn't chucking his team out of the series
pretending the 2004 Pistons aren't the rare exception to needing a superstar
