Pau for Kwame
LO to Dallas for a $9M TPE
$9M TPE for Nash

Nash is a TOSB, but he's a TOSB than can SHOOT and can PASS. The spacing for our still intact twin towers just got less congested. I dare teams to leave Nash open.

While that is very true the new reality for me is much more complicated than that...the real benefit will be when Kobe is resting and Nash is in the game..Our offense won't stagnate. Nash will keep it running like a flowing river...and making them better as well...Kobe can for the first time in his career play the 2 guard position the way that MJ did...Scoring the ball...Phil said that he never asked MJ to score and facilitate like he asked Kobe to do..that's the biggest thing being over looked here..Kobe can now be Kobe and maybe just maybe Pau will get his act together...

I'm satisfied with this trade and if they want to being Sessions back then even better for Nash...

Great addition to the Lakers tbh, Nash doesn't need to score any more, and can get open shots for others. To those saying Nash doesn't play defense, that is true, but it won't hurt the Lakers much at all with their length inside...that is if they keep their length inside, if not it could be an issue.

Remember, Nash plays his best defense by making the oposing teams pg guard him, and he can still do that.

High screens with Nash and Kobe will extend both players careers, and be damn hard to defend.

sons there is absolutely nothing honorable or respectable about aging players who have never won a ring jumping on a bandwagon to try and coattail ride for one. Karl Malone disgraced himself trying to do so, no one gives a about Gary Payton doing it, etc. ... it tarnishes a great players name when they try and do that . taking the pussy route.

I get what you are saying, but I dont look down on McAdoo, Drexler, Finley, GP etc for doing it. None won as alphas but they all contributed heavily.

Not bad for $8.3 million a season. I hated it for $12m in Toronto, but that's not too bad at that price. I still don't see them beating OKC though (LOL Nash, Bynum guarding the P&R).

I agree our pnr defense will be atrocious. We almost HAVE to get Dwight I am not 100% sold and wouldnt we want to keep some first rounders for a trade for Josh Smith or Dwight.

I think Kobe will give up the ball for Nash, a guy he respects. And yes we have two old guards but Kobe's defense is not bad. He doesnt try very hard on a consistent basis but when motivated, I saw him limit Wade.
