^^most likely reading glasses?
Everyone I've known that has had this done ends up needing glasses again like 8-10 years later
^^most likely reading glasses?
10 years and going strong.
Here we go!!
report back, thinking about it myself
Its been 3 hours and my eyes are tearing like crazy...but I can see good...
But hard to keep eyes open
Yeah, it's going to be like that for a couple of days.
I experienced that for 4 days or so after the surgery... it's not really painful but more of discomforting feeling at that.
5 hours now..and I'm fine....discomfort is pretty much gone....if my vision stays like this, I'll be happy.
Any of you guys have issues with glare or halos?
If I remember correctly, my ophthalmologist recommended me not going outside in broad daylight...best you can do is not make yourself vulnerable to areas in your home that refract light (like windows)...
I don't remember having issues with glare or halos other than the few times I stepped outside with those darkened plastic glasses they give out.
It may have already been addressed, but how much did you guys pay for it?
I don't have the exact number, but it was a little under $3000
That's so ing worth it....I think I'm gonna finally pull the trigger.....I can't even wrap my mind around what it must be like to wake up at night and be able to see the alarm clock.
$2600...crystal clear during day...halos and star burst at night...but its only been 2 nights...so hoping it will go away.
Did the halos and star burst go away?
3 month Lasik post op: Still 20/20. Can't find the little wrinkle I had on my right eye from my one month post op. Other than the starbursts at night, so far so good.
Did my procedure in 03 and Dr. George Boozalis told me that he had done thousands of procedures and mine was the only insurance that covered the cost of this operation ..Saved me a bunch . See his site and the first thing he will do is classified you per age? Will offer different things according to your age? 18 to 40 and 41 to 60 and 61 and above . Guess he does different things according to your age group ???? Look it up ? Dr. George Boozalies born in Freeport and his practice in Victoria . Victoria Eye Center and look at how he will triage your operation according to diffeent age spans...Its only 130 miles or so but he has the best bedside manner plus he is a very good eye surgeon. Has lots of local offices in Beeville, Port Lavaca , Yoakum, Cureo and Corpus . If anyone is looking into this procedure please go see this Dr. first ...its free for the first visit and he will really impress you . If your from out of town he will shortend some of the appointmenat so you will keep your visit to a bare minimun. He did a twik on me back in 08 and did cartacts in 2011 BUT the only bad thing is that i had to wear readers but now he can correct iot with surgery and not need readers just the operations which cost a grand or so
Wow it all adds up?
Is This Country Great or What
The Army paid for my surgery in 2007 in Germany while I was a combat medic. I think I have 20/10 vision. Everything has been perfect so far.
I had a dream that my Lasik was fake....that the Doctor just distracted me with a red light and popped in a couple of contact lens and said "Don't touch your eye from now on, it'll ruin the surgery". =P
