Man the Hornets would have cap room next season. That's why I question the Anderson move.
Read it and weep, Laker fans:

Without an extension with Lakers, Andrew Bynum has a short list of teams he will consider in 2013 free agency, league sources tell Y!Bynum has shown no inclination to agree to an immediate extension if sent to Orlando as part of a Dwight Howard package, sources tell Y!Dallas and Cleveland are among teams with cap space that would interest Bynum in 2013 as a free agent, sources tell Y!

LOL. The topic is load of bull tbh. With his injury history Bynum will jump all over an extension if it's offered. He hasn't been offered one yet. There's no way he puts that much money at risk when he could go from millions to nothing, all riding on his knee.

Welcome to SA, 'Drew!
I can see why Lorbek said the Spurs were to sign a center.
Cleveland Cavaliers? Are you serious![]()
TBH, I think Andrew really wants to get out of Kobe Bryant's shadow. I really don't blame him. Kobe gets the glory when they win while he or Pau gets the blame when the Lakers lose.
Imagine this. Kobe has possibly 4 more years left in his career and he doesn't have any plans of bowing down to Bynum anytime soon. I'm sure he loves the city but playing with Kobe is making it really hard for him to fully showcase his talent.
Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but I think the tweets were implying IF Bynum was traded, he wouldn't automatically re-sign with Orlando. Not that he wants out of LA.
Houston Rockets at the plate, 0 for 3 with 3 strikeouts in the game, down 3 with the bases loaded, falls down and off balance hits the ball towards third, hitting the runner, richocheting off the 2nd base runner, then hits the runner at 1st for the game ending triple play.
He will have signed an extension before he is traded to Orlando if that happens. If an extension is offered this off-season he will sign it. It's too big of a risk not to given his injury history.
The first tweet implies that he's probably walking in 2013 whether he's traded or not, tbh...
Drew wants to be a franchise guy... he don't want to be second banana to anybody... that's why Cavs makes sense for him from that standpoint...
Just a natural biological progression of the Nashball transformation.
Get rid of your bigs and post players.
Next ya'll need to go find a soft skinny 7 footer that shoots 3's.
Enjoy![]()
Isn't that Pau?![]()
We in stacked again!!!
Also, no most people with Bynum's knee problems would sign the extension... but Bynum is immature, reckless, and clearly wants to be the first option now, tbh...
Gortat/Frye/your '2013 1st rounder back
for
Big baby Bynum
The numbers work. Come on!!![]()
better stay in LA unless he wants to join orlando via a SnT deal that also includes DH. Lakers ain't letting him go w/o the return of equivalent value that DH would be
Looks like the Nets are gonna get Dwight tbh... rumor has it that Cleveland is gonna take Humphries....
Not sure if all this off season drama is worthwhile...going to hope that the right moves are made and we don't have to have the mash-up of egos and hurt egos that would be a detriment to the cohesion of the '13 squad. Kinda sets the whole future into something in the middle of murky and completely bleak when it is rebuilding time. I would venture to guess Bynum would be foolish to not sign an extension regardless of being traded. It would be the uncertainty of an injury-prone future and his very real injury-prone past. Also, an at ude check would be nice if he wants to be no.1 get out there and command it.
But Bynum is a mentally and physically soft dud, why would they care if he doesn't want to be with Lakers
That team with Paul, Dirk and Bynum...Cuban is a genius for intentionally whiffing on Deron this summer. 2013 baby!
Mavs are gonna get Paul Pierce next summer? Damn, he's old, tbh...
Andy in Dallas would be a game changer for the Mavs.
Those tweets say nothing about Bynum wanting out of LA. It says "without an extension" because the Lakers have not opened discussions on an extension yet. Bynum and his agent have made it clear that they are open to discussions about an extension and Bynum has made it clear that he doesn't give a about anything except who will give him the most money. The bottom line is if the Lakers choose to keep him then he will stay.
