didnt he average 26 and 13? wtf are u talkin for?
That's what happens when you're on a ty team and you're the main guy. Other teams will let him have his points and rebounds.

I'm not saying he wouldn't put up good numbers when been guarded and defended instensively and exclusively but you will see less production from him.

Same with Batum and Gordon. If you want control over where you play, sign the QO and play out your contract. Otherwise, stfu because we really don't care.

He's another Steve Nash, gets useless stats and look mighty as but never gets anywhere. At least Nash won some MVP awards and saw the playoffs a few times. KL should shut up and enjoy his fame in relative obscurity (if that's possible).

Love is right. He's on a ty team. He's an elite player and outside of Rubio and Pekovic, they don't have much. Derrick Williams is talented, but he's a better PF than SF. They desperately need wing players. The wing players they have or had including Beasley are garbage.

sons does anyone else find it funny how many of these "star" and supposed "elite" players and moan about wanting to play on a better team? whatever happened to going out and busting your ass to prove that you're the best? everyone wants to take the easy road now. very few legit players left in the NBA. everyone wants to jump on a stacked team instead of working for team success. if a player like Love is as "Great" as he thinks, then he should be able to AT LEAST carry the T-Wolves to the playoffs.

Soccer moms, that's the reason. They have their kids play for fun, no scores, and everyone is friends with the other team. No losers, let's all go for ice cream. The NBAers are getting their ice cream in lump sums.

Restricted FA. Difficult to leave. Twolves would have matched any offers he got.

So? He could have made more money then and showed he wanted out. Letting teams off the hook while they bring on ty players isn't conducive to building power house franchises, but then they had KG and didn't do with him, Spree, and ET.

They went to a conference Finals with that group.

But Love had little leverage. He actually wanted the 5 year max, but they only offered him the 4 year max which was dumb too. He couldn't have made more money anywhere else.

    They didn't do .

They made it out of the 2nd round. Big ing deal.

Denver did that a few year ago.

The TWolves are a ty franchise in a ty state.

lol mud holes called lakes. You cannot throw a stone across a lake in Texas (last summer maybe). I can jump most of the "lakes" in Minny.

You're making Love's point. Of course they're a ty franchise. That's why he would threaten to leave once he becomes an unrestricted FA.

He could have just signed the QO, played one year and been a UFA, but I am sure you already knew that.

He's not powerful enough to make them do anything. He's part of the reason they are a ty franchise.

Yup. If a player really wants to leave the team that drafted him, he can play out his contract, sign the qualifying offer (which yes, would mean NOT having the security of a multi-year deal for one year), then be an unrestricted free agent. However nearly all of them prefer financial security over being able to pick their team.

That statement really seems to be a classic "taken out of context" thing. He is with team USA. All or near all the other players have more success and better teams than him and someone asks if he feels that. What is he supposed to say?

    1) "We are not THAT bad! We just don't make the playoffs"
    2) "Next year we will beat OKCs asses in the WCF!"
    3) " yeah, we suck but I don't care at all!"
    4) "I'm basically a max player but please give me some superstars surrounding me so we start winning now!"

    ???

It was dumb to say what he did (or how he did it), but after watching another great PF in Minny wasting year after year after year, he should put some pressure on them!

I'm surprised you knew it seeing how crappy you've been posting lately.

But I haven't seen a big time restricted FA turn down a multi-year deal and sign the QO. But I'm sure you knew that too.
