Allthough I am a a "Suns fan" since Dragič signed again (Spurs still my first love) I quite happy the didn't waste their cap space with Gordon.
I sincerely hope they can find a capable big man than anything else....

Plus, they already have a scorer Rivers. I don't care what you say, he may have the ability to pass or see the floor but he's mentality is to shoot first and shoot second. Austin Rivers is a 2 guard not a point.
spirit don't want phoenix to get him for free which's obvious. phoenix should've inquired NO about the possibility of making a S&T deal, rather than test their lucky by offering him a contract, with the forlorn hope that the spirit don't match. it's a loss-loss deal for both spirit and phoenix imho, spirit just brought back someone who doesn't wanna play for them and who will probably continue to act like a lazy ass

Real talk if the Hornets don't try to establish Rivers as a full time point guard and just accept the fact their backcourt has two combo guards who can share PG duties, they could be good. If they try to turn Austin Rivers into a point guard, they could fall apart really quickly. Rivers isn't a point guard and demonstrated that last year at Duke.
We also knew Gordon was just blowing smoke about how he hates New Orleans and loves Phoenix as an attempt to get New Orleans away from matching. Now that they have matched, he's not gonna pretend to hate New Orleans anymore. Good move on their part.
This isn't gonna ruin the Suns' off season as much as signing Scola to a 3 year deal will. That money shoulda gone towards cap space for next year or signing Juice Mayonnaise.
