He was evidently so drunk that as he was being processed and fingerprinted, he was singing.
kidd was then rushed back to the hospital, according to the report, because of a complication with a sleeping aid he took.
after “a pretty traumatic morning, he was having problems sleeping and took a sleeping aid,'' one kidd source said. “he had a bad reaction, and the family was concerned and called for an emt to check him out.”
asked whether it could have been a suicide attempt, the source strongly denied it.
“why would the guy want to end his life? He just signed a $10 million contract and has a beautiful new baby,” the source said.

He can't function right now that he can't beat up on his wife now. He needs things to be back to the norm so he beat her some more and feel good about himself again.

would you so kindly as to help heal Jason Kidd's defragmented soul? I mostly pray Lord for you to help those souls in most need of your Mercy in the wee hours of the night, such as his wife and her tattered body. Yet I thank you Lord for graciously allowing his soul to live for yet another day despite his DWI, My heart has been numb for so so long Lord, and my many tears frosted by so much illeness because of what Kidd has been through in life,and due to all of the hurt, his rusty heart almost gave up. I am so, so tired of his medical issue and his love of beating his wife. Please pray forgive Jason now Lord, and would You do kindly as to not drop his Soul in , but keep it where fire,floods thieves,and evil ones may no longer hurt it. I fold my heart in prayer Lord..because I know that soon you will shine a candle in Heaven for Jason Kidd when he soon parts this earth, because I know he can feel your prescense ever so near. Keep him in the cleft of your heart, as I know he wants part with you soon.

We must now have a moment of silence for Jason Kidd's sad and pathetic rich life and playing in the nba. We are lucky to not be having such a rough time.
Can't believe Kidd would do something this stupid? Especially when considering the fact that the NBA now provides free "complimentary" car service, which is available to ALL NBA players.
The human condition is an impossible thing to figure out--he has had his issue with spousal abuse and such that this isn't surprising. Hopefully he'll seek help and not hide behind the notion that men, when they need help, ignore the fact that he has issues that need to be addressed. The good thing is this: He didn't kill anyone and/or himself while driving impaired.
