Sage Stallone Dead: Sylvester Stallone's Son Dies At 36

Sage Stallone, son of actor Sylvester Stallone, has been found dead, The New York Post and TMZ report.

The junior Stallone was reportedly found at home in Los Angeles. TMZ reports that his father is extremely distraught. The Post spoke with Sage Moonblood Stallone's attorney, who said the death came as a complete shock.

"He was in good spirits, and working on all kinds of projects,” George Braunstein told the paper. “He was planning on getting married. I am just devastated. He was an extremely wonderful, loving guy. This is a tragedy.”
TMZ's sources say the cause of death was a prescription drug overdose.

The Post reports that his mother, Sasha Czack, had also been notified of her son's passing. Stallone made his acting debut alongside his father in "Rocky V."

He went on to act in a number of films, most recently in "Promises Written in Water" in 2010 (he also appeared in "The Agent," a short, and in a 2011 television do entary episode on the Rocky films).
Sylvester Stallone was in San Diego Thursday to promote "Expendables 2," his new film with Arnold Schwarzenegger. The actors spoke on a panel in Hall H at Comic-Con.

Yea I remember when I was a kid that was one of the biggest reasons I liked the movie because it was his real son, I always thought that was kind of cool.

His son was also in Sly's movie DAYLIGHT as well.

    RIP

    It's not?

I thought it was his kid and I thought his kid also was in an earlier movie when he was younger.

    My bad.

Rocky Balboa Jr.: [after Rocky and Rocky Jr. run up the steps, and Rocky Jr. beats Rocky up the steps] Come dad you can do better then that.
Rocky Balboa: Oh no way... It's like these steps keep growing taller every year, my goodness.
    [Rocky looks at the steps]
Rocky Balboa: I can't believe it kid, this is where it all started for me. Runnin' up and these steps you know...
Rocky Balboa Jr.: [Looks at his watch] Dad we're gonna be late.
Rocky Balboa: Oh right... Hey kid what's wrong with your ear?
Rocky Balboa Jr.: What's wrong with it?
Rocky Balboa: You got somthin' growing in it like a, like a bump.
    Rocky Balboa Jr.: What bump?
    Rocky Balboa: This bump.
[Rocky as a trick takes his necklace out from his sons ear, and gives it to him. Rocky Jr. eyes it in awe]
    Rocky Balboa Jr.: Thanks dad!
    [Hugs Rocky]
Rocky Balboa: Hey you deserve it. Thank you for bein' born. Thank you, thank you.
Rocky Balboa Jr.: [Holds the necklace to his ear as an earing] What do you think, the new me?
Rocky Balboa: Well, um... You look like the daughter i've always wanted.
Rocky Balboa Jr.: [Fake punches Rocky jokingly] What you talkin' about.
Rocky Balboa: [jokingly] Hey yo kid don't punch me, i'm getting brittle as it is... Look at this, you know. I've been running up and down these steps for 20 years, and i never knew there was valuable pictures in this building.
Rocky Balboa Jr.: Well your never to old to learn somthin' new. Your gonna love Piccaso.
Rocky Balboa: Yeah, yeah well I love almost everybody.

Sage Stallone dead: Cause of death unclear

The cause of death was not clear.
No suicide note was found, Winter said, though prescription bottles were recovered from the home on Mulholland Drive in the Studio City area. Winter could not say what kind of medication bottles or how many, and whether they had a role in the death.

Winter said an autopsy will be performed in the next few days and investigators will look into Stallone's medical history, but a cause of death was likely to take several weeks while toxicology tests are performed.
George Braunstein, an attorney who has represented Sage Stallone for 15 years, said friends and acquaintances had become concerned because they hadn't heard from Stallone in the past day, Braunstein said. He said the employee who found the body was a housekeeper.

Sylvester Stallone appeared Thursday at Comic-Con, the San Diego pop culture festival, to promote his upcoming film "Expendables 2" with friend and co-star Arnold Schwarzenegger. It was not clear whether he had remained at the convention or had returned to Los Angeles Friday.

But not the child shown in the pics.

He didn't die from a monkeybar accident. He was old enough to run for President of the United States, hardly a kid.

I posted his younger pics because that's how he's most recognizable and how I remember him from growing up, being a very loyal Rocky fan and all. I even mentioned when I posted them that, that is how I will always remember him because of all the times I've basically seen that movie.

But yea he was 36, as was posted in the le.

Expendables 2 will be even greater. Van Damme as the villain, man can't wait. But damn, how do you go about promoting your big film that opens in a month after just losing your son?

Two days after his 36-year-old son Sage was found dead, Sylvester Stallone released a statement to the public asking for sensitivity. "When a parent loses a child there is no greater pain. Therefore I am imploring people to respect my talented son's memory and feel compassion for his loving mother Sasha. This agonizing loss will be felt for the rest of our lives," Stallone said. "Sage was our first child and the center of our universe and I am humbly begging for all to have my son's memory and soul left in peace."

He also called for an end to "the speculation and questionable reporting" surrounding Sage's death. Reports circulating on Friday and over the weekend had blamed his death on prescription pills, speculated suicide, and had stated that he been dead anywhere from three to seven days prior to his body being discovered in his Los Angeles area home by a housekeeper on July 13, though initial reports said the police had been called to do a welfare check after Sage had not been heard from for some time.
