The only thing stopping Kevin Durant in the foreseeable future will be Lebron James, and he'll be in his prime for another 5-6 years.
The next 5 years will be epic as we'll be witnessing another Magic-Bird in Lebron-Durant showdown.
I wondered the same.
He's not there yet but he will be. It will be interesting to see how both of their careers play out from here.

He'll be 28 this year, so five or six years is probably a stretch. He's probably got 4 more years of good solid prime before he starts to decline...barring any injuries, of course. Durant will be 24 and is still peaking.
The next few seasons should be fun to watch as they should continue to go head to head in the finals. As nature takes it's course and James hits the other side of 30 in the next two years Durant will overtake him. These next couple of seasons head to head will fuel a lot of arguments for who was the best during this era.
(Sidenote:Westbrick)
I have a little bit more confidence in Westbrook than I had before. He showed some flashes of maturity in the playoffs this year. I'm far from convinced though.
Thread was not about the future or the past.
LeBron is the best player in the world
Duh. Westbrook is more explosive.
If he can reduce his 3 point attempts and refine his midrange game he'd be deadly.
Ok... So a full turn?
Someone failed their geometry classes.![]()

Except the fact that LeBron, the guy who plays the same position as Durant that just beat the brakes off him in the Finals, is much better.
so benefactor has yet to directly say he was wrong, ok.
Parker used to catch alley oops all the time and monkey ball the out of them.
He was a beast back in the day.
And the best............actor?
