Ok, he also averaged almost 18 picks a season while Marino averaged just shy of 15.
See, I can cherry pick stats too.
I won't argue that Favre wasn't exceptional, because he was, for a long time too, but I believe Marino to just be a superior quarterback. , Marino did all that and ran what was likely a 5.6 40.....so you know his quarterbacking skills were elite.
How do we really argue this, how do you go wrong with those two?

I think the 49ers will be good again. However, the "williams did lose the game for them" is nonsense. Just like Norwood didn't lose the game for the Bills in the Super Bowl.
Had either team done their respective jobs correctly for the entire game, neither team would have put those individual players in the position to "lose the game". It was like how everyone was giving Tebow the credit for "winning the game" last season in Denver. The defense kept every one of those wins (except the Vikings game) a low scoring affair.
