Seconded. One of the most entertaining movies you'll ever come across.
Savages 8.9/10
Loved it! Glad to see a film by an old school Director for a change. So much crap these days, was so glad to be able to see an Oliver Stone picture. Violence, Direction, Score, Acting...Awesome badass film.

Seconded. One of the most entertaining movies you'll ever come across.
Ted 7/10
Immortals 6/10
Amazing visuals, very disjointed storyline
yeah! I had all but forgotten about Kung Fu Hustle
need to watch that one again
That and Shaolin Soccer, with Subs not Dubs
also, Act of Valor: 6/10 as movie, 10/10 recommend must see
Did you really just give OTT a 4 son!?
My GF calls it the baby Kung Fu movie
Tombstone IMO is perfect.
OTT was awesome 20 years ago...all grown up now the story was crap and movie was rather boring until the end.
Tombstone is definitely up there among my favorite westerns.
Rec 3 2/10
Terrible, terrible movie.
The Legend of Sorrow Creek - F
Seriously one of the worst horror films I have ever seen, and that is really saying something.
Drive-6/10
Surprisingly a good flick.
The Sitter-2/10
ing horrible. Stay away.
Jeff, Who Lives at Home 7.6/10

Oh yeah, I finally watched Red Cliff on Netflix.
7/10 I really enjoyed it, but I think you need to have at least a casual exposure to the history to really enjoy it. Wish Netflix had the extended version though.
The fight scenes were great, and the guys that played Zhou Yu and Guan Yu really nailed their parts
A 6 is a mediocre score for that movie.
For me is a personal 9.5 and a general 8 imo.
Drive was one of the best movies in 2011.
^^nah, I never really bought into it like a lot of people here seem to have seemlessly done so.
Maybe I was watching if on a bad day, I'll rewatch it again when I have time later this week.
Seemlessly?
The movie was that good. You dont get force to like a movie. lol
What didn't you like about it?
I liked it but it didn't wow me like it wowed you.
Everyone has their own grading criteria. If a movie wows me, it gets 7.5-8 out of 10.
I'll watch it again tonight if I got the chance and I'll get back to you.
Who said the movie wowed me?
There is more to a movie than just pure crazy violence and CGI.
That wasn't what made this movie great. It was how the story was told, the script, the chemistry between the characters and the touch of the 80 style music put this movie over the top.
Senna was easily the best movie I saw in 2011. Drive was a very well done B movie.
Anyone seen Moonrise Kingdom or Safety Not Guaranteed yet?
Want to check out both.
I've heard good things about both, but waiting for video.
Senna was a do entary, hardly could be compared with a movie.
Also, Drive was hardly a B-movie.
There needs to be more memes about 7-year-old YTMND memes.
Entertaining action scenes, awfully corny love story. I was surprised my gf hated it, but I did enjoy the movie. I thought the pauses and slo mo worked to much better effect in Valhalla Rising, which I also liked.
Not sure how to tell you do entaries are movies. That was the best movie I saw that year.
moonrise kingdom was a fun movie for me, wes anderson fanboys will in their pants over it, wes anderson haters will hate it more than anything he's ever done. it's no rushmore but it's probably better than what the mookie crew thought of life aquatic.
safety not guaranteed was okay, you'll have a boner for aubrey plaza after watching it, but the ending was supposed to be some grandiose event and the mumblecore director clearly didn't have the chops to make it as awesome as it could have been.
That's the impression I get from the ads. It seems like every movie he makes gets more "Wes Anderson-y" than the one before, if that makes sense.
Excluding Fantastic Mr. Fox, which I never got to see but have heard good things from some people.
Oh and, Below - B-. Solid B-film, some iffy special effects, but overall fun and suspenseful.
