If its just a trailer isn't it on youtube? I got the one where Superman goes on Deadliest Catch.
So I'm probably going to see it again later this weekend so I can really take it in. I was really tired last night so I don't think I got as excited as I otherwise would have. In comparison to TDK, I would say its no better and no worse. Honestly, if anyone tells me they prefer any of the 3 over the other 2 I can't really disagree because at this point in time I consider all 3 close enough to where there's not much of a difference.
I definitely wasn't as excited as when I left TDK, but I still think its just as good. Catwoman was well acted and definitely did not detract from the story. Actually, this was easily the best acted of the 3 from top to bottom. There was no character who was poorly done or acted, IMO. I'm not a huge Joseph Gordon Levitt fan but he really did well in this film.
Honestly, probably my 2nd favorite trilogy of all time after LOTR.

I can only find the cam version online which isn't good quality. The one I'm referring to has the Thin Red Line theme on it. And i didn't get the Deadliest catch one, I got Superman Vs Jason.
Oh, and Nolan mixes in great stuff from the comics that should make all nerds happy in really good ways. Its so good the way he does it.
Rofl, DPGs balls are going to explode right out of the socket if Catwoman is bad ass I this movie
I thought the movie was great. How long before we can freely discuss this?
I'm going to wait to the end of the weekend before going outright spoiler in my posts. There's probably a load of spoilers in this thread though. I avoided it for a long time.
I think tomorrow evening would be long enough to wait.
But that's mostly because I'm a selfish funt.
I thought it was better than TDK, but the first one is always the best. I also think TDK got overrated big time due to Heath Ledger's death. Caused a lot of people to rate it higher than it actually was. I know IMDB has at 8.9, but it's closer to a 7.8 imo. I give Batman begins an 8.4, and this one a solid 8. Felt like some scenes were missing? What happened to the Lazarus pits that I heard Nolan was going to include?
You missed the Lazarus pit? REALLY?
was it in the film? I got up to take a piss for like 5 mins. I taught that's where Batman went to heal his broken body. Didn't know you could heal just by doing pushups, situps, pullups in a prison. And how did he fix his jacked up knees? Did he go to Germany on his way to Gotham? I guess I'm going to need to see it again!
DPG wrong about dat Cathaway.
Whoever successfully makes the Bane troll should share with me the password.
Definitely was wrong - I thought she would ruin the movie possibly but I felt she stayed out of the way and didn't subtract from it. I didn't think she was awesome, but I'm glad she was very subtle and not featured a lot doing things on her own.
I liked the movie a pretty good amount. Didn't feel as blown away as I did when I left TDK, but definitely liked it and feel that if I watch it again, I would like it more.
Few things I didn't fully get, but overall was a good movie.
And I see RedZ gushing some over Catwoman. She ultimately was not bad, but that didn't make her good IMO. If she would be given a more prominent role it would be totally unbelievable and corny (all of Nolan's Batman's did a good job of making sure the corn factor was at a minimum).
She didn't suck, but added nothing for me and I would not want to see her more prominently displayed as a character.
What didn't you understand?
Good call.
Damn there's been a lot since I've been in here. First off, why the is there 2 other TDKR threads? wtf is that? Anyways, awesome movie. I think it could've been a 4 hour long movie tbh. I wouldn't have minded seeing more of the underground strategizing going on between Gordon, his crew, and the trapped cops while Bane had the city on lockdown. I also loved the times when Wayne was in the prison, I would've loved to see more with him and the 2 cellmates.
Regardless, I don't know how I'd rank them all but easily the most epic of the 3 just like with most other great trilogies: Star Wars, TLotR, the man with no name trilogy, Indiana Jones
First movie is always more personal and main character based. Second is more dark and brooding. Third is more widescale with more characters involved
