that's a stretch BR
Chris Paul: "I have a connection with New Orleans that I will never forget"
A lot of players have gone from small-market teams to bigger cities and they are usually not popular among fans in their original NBA cities. It's not your case in New Orleans. Why do you think is that, that you are still popular over there?
CP: You know, it's not about me, being popular in New Orleans. I'll always love the city of New Orleans. Even though I don't play there right now, I'm always there, I always go back. I have an after-school program there that is for kids in inner-city schools. I want to try to remain involved in the community there. I'm not here on this USA National Team if not for the fans in New Orleans. I don't know why they love me back. I was there six of the best years of my life. I love the city there, and I think we have a lot in common. Having to overcome adversity... It was just a connection that I will never forget.
He also recently said something about how if he could have been offered the extension he'll get from the Clippers next summer this year, he'd sign it, tbh....
He just sees the writing on the wall about monkeyball knees tbh.
Then he'd have no reason to even entertain the possibility of playing with the oft-injured Cornerstone and Monkeyball ankles, tbh.....![]()
lol he'll want back in a year or two whenever the Hornets are the best team in the NBA.
Son, just because a kid has a moustache on the wrong half of his face is no reason to think he can singlehandedly take on LeBron and Wade or Durant and Westbrook. Real talk.
Agreed but I swear Westbrick is very overrated.
The Cornerstone is a better player than anyone on the Spurs roster, and that's pretty damn pathetic.
Where did he finish in the MVP voting last year?
lol @ jaded Spurs fans thinking 4 first place votes for Tony Parker is something to brag about.![]()
Son, I like the Hornets/Spirit but I don't think they will be even a top 3 team in the west unless Davis becomes the next Duncan and Rivers turns into Tim Hardaway.
BR prolly has an ass tat of CP3 which smiles everytime he sits down.
Son, New Orleans will be a bottom feeder for years to come until the day they move to Seattle and start winning.
I actually think they will start making playoffs and be solid 1st or even 2nd round exits in a matter of a few years.
Gordon has talent, no doubt, and potential coming out of his ass. But until he actually starts helping a team win games -- and games that matter -- Parker is a way better basketball player. Simple fact.
How many playoff games did Eric Gordon play in again?
How many future Hall of Fame players or coaches has the Cornerstone been able to play with?
What's up BR?
God bless son
He means dog years.
STATS DONT LIE
Cornerstone VS Parker
PPG: 18.2 16.8
FG%: .452 .492
3 PT %: .370 .310
FT%: .807 .738
RBs Per Game: 2.7 2.6

Might as well pull out Big Al's high school numbers.
Fat .
1 Finals MVP tbh
Yeah, nice math. 0.1 more RB, 0.1 more STL, 0.2 more BLK per game, and 0.1 less TO >>>>>> nearly twice as many assists, because 4 stats > 1 stat![]()
