Ok, I'm stumped. Who was the man in the beginning who killed himself?
Oh Skylar, you need to get over Ted.
ing great episode as always. Best show on tv.

I'm going to watch the 1st season on Netflix and see what this is all about
Schuler from Madrigal (and I assume the lady with the list) and Chen were the financial backers in a conglomerate of sorts with Gustavo Fring and the meth ring it seems. I would imagine that the El Pollo Hermano front was bigger than even what was the focal point of Albuquerque and so we start to see how immense this thing really was.
Also, you start to see a bit more into Mike's character--which, to me, was a great part of this episode. The dude is a beast and I think he'll have a huge role in this final two part season.
Be prepared - it's like crack. Once you try it, it consumes your every thought and there are no acceptable subs utes.
Btw, as far as who or what kills Walt in the end - my money's on Skylar.
Or, Jesse.
I don't know if he does get killed, but here's to hoping that it is a spectacular end if it goes that route.
I can see Walt going down in Kennard fashion
You're not kidding, it's at the corporate level.
I have a feeling it will be Mike taking out Walt in the end, just a hunch. Also, you start to see a bit more into Mike's character--which, to me, was a great part of this episode. The dude is a beast and I think he'll have a huge role in this final two part season.
I hope it's Mike. He's the only one qualified to do it.
Nah, Walt knows Mike doesn't like him and is prepped for it. It'll be someone unexpected ( , maybe Walt Jr. caps Heisenberg thinking he's going to hurt his mom or Uncle Hank).
^As far as someone unexpected, I'm going with Hank.
I believe that, at some point this season, Hank is going to figure out who Walt really is. At that point, we will get to see him struggle with the decision of how to handle the situation.
Would Hank kill his brother-in-law? In the next episode, Marie is apparently going to confront Walt. If both Skyler AND Marie are terrified of Walt, and Hank uncovers Walt's true self...
Breaking Bad is AWESOME
I think Walt will come to his senses in the second part of this final season and realize that deep down this is not the person he is or wants his son to be. But by then it will be too late setting up his death somehow. I don't think the writers are going the traditional happy ending route
i like Mike becoming the boss....he has always been the right hand man even back to Beverly Hills Cop..lol
Hank was great, look on his face when his boss was talking about people being right under their noses was perfect. Saul's wardrobe is just badass. Really enjoyed this episode.
Walt won't die. But I bet his son will.
Walt is flying high right now, and thinks he's prepped for anything. I don't think he really understands what a reptile Mike is.
Walt is just the latest link in the arrogance chain. The cartel Don was first, killing Gus's partner. Gus eliminated him, and then stupidly bragged to the old man, who became the instrument of his destruction.
Whoever it is, we've been dropped a huge clue at the beginning of episode one: He was so scared, he felt the need to get strapped with a machiney. To me, that rules out Skyler and Hank. Slyler isn't scary enough, and you don't try to shoot it out with the DEA. That's a fight you lose 100% of the time.
I agree.
But by "his son," I mean Jesse.
Ultimately, I think that's the relationship that is central to the show and will end up central to its resolution. Either the two will split and be at war with each other, or something really horrible is going to happen to Jesse (likely the result of Walt's manipulation) and it will end up being the thing that finally breaks Walt.
Hahaha... my parents bought one of those for my son.
They weren't bothered by the fact its tail looks like a dildo?
Anyone else think the reason Walt is buying the machine gun has to do with Madrigal?
... I think that's why my mom bought it.
Doesn't track for me. My guess would be Mike, or the Chileans.
