In 04, Nocioni, Delfino, and Scola were all very good players internationally who were all capable of being productive players and starters on many NBA teams. It wasn't long after that tournament before they all ended up on an NBA team. Oberto was there too.
Of course, they had nowhere near the star power of the US, but they had a great group of compe ors who knew each other very well and played the game like a selfless team. They were all in their athletic primes during that time too. That 2004 team was awesome.

Not impressed with Spain, tbh... maybe they just had a weak game...
Looked better early in the game, and then they pretty much fell apart. Doubt the USA has much in the way of any roadblocks to the gold, but ya never know.....
