Even an in shape Eddy Curry was always a below average rebounder and not much of a shot blocker. I also don't see how he would fit in a pick and roll heavy offense considering that he can barely get up and down the floor and doesn't have any range on his jumper.

So what makes you think that he can still play? He played behind Juwan Howard last season..

Play what? He's played a total of 157 minutes of NBA basketball in the last four seasons.

Really, with both Tim and Tiago we need a center? You could even throw Blair in there, even though he is undersized. The Spurs don't need a center they need a PF. Tim's time at the PF spot is over, at least defensively.

Secondly, Curry hasn't played for the Bulls in 7 years. In that time he hasn't done anything to warrant more playing time. In fact hes come to training camp out of shape, had heart issues, and failed to get playing time on a Heat team that uses the dried husks of former players at the Center position because they have no one else. And since he was on the Bulls, his averages have been terrible even for the limited minutes he has played.

I'll keep Bonner, at least, he is fun to stir up the haters on the board. Curry would jump once and fall thru the floor.

Mexican food is too fattening. They'd have to send a flatbed to get him to games.

Jesus. If we're going to try to sign a fat guy with no defense who doesn't play basketball anymore, we should just make an offer to Barkley. At least he used to be good once upon a time.

This. I remember when he was paired up in Chicago with Chandler and they were playing us. He played 25 minutes of floor time and had ZERO rebounds. ZERO.

If it walks like a basketball player, talks like a basketball player, and looks like a basketball player....it ain't necessarily a basketball player.
