    The New Orleans Hornets announced today that guard Austin Rivers underwent successful surgery to clean up bone spurs in his right ankle.

    The 10th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, Rivers’ injury flared up during the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas last week.

    The surgery was performed by Dr. Brian McKeon in Boston. He's expected to make a full recovery and be ready for training camp this fall.

    Tlong doesn't even have to try, he's the GOAT jinxer. Imagine if he started saying the Spurs were the best team in the NBA? Pop would get a hear attack, Duncan would break his wrist playing chess, Manu would lose a knife fight with FkLA, Parker would get AIDS for porking somebody's wife, Jackson get knocked out by Steve Nash and Bonner would start as center for the entire season.
