Face it Republicans, you've been waiting for the chance to play the victim.
...compelling point.
Guns and Chick-Fil-A a matter of trust
For those who won't bother to read, here's how he connects the dots.I have heard a lot of people on the left self righteously complain that conservatives are unwilling to agree to “common sense gun control” that we are unreasonable fanatics who would oppose restrictions on the ownership of Sherman Tanks.
Most of all; we are totally wrong to believe that the left is after our guns just because of the proposed assault weapon ban.
Why would we have such a belief, how can the folks on the right even think we on the left are after their guns, all their guns?
The answer: Chick-Fil-A
In 1996, DOMA passed 85-14 in the Senate and 342-67 in the House. President Bill Clinton signed the bill into law, putting to rest the concern that an earlier Vermont Supreme Court ruling, requiring civil partnerships, was an attempt to legalize same-sex marriage.
In 15 short years we've arrived at a place where the Mayors of two major cities have declared a business unwelcome because they still hold the view a vast majority of Americans, Democrats and Republicans alike, firmly held just less than 20 years before. A view the current president held just a few months ago.
Do I think Rahm Emmanuel and that Menino idiot in Boston are outraged at Chick-fil-A's position on marriage? No. If that were the case, they'd be outraged at the Catholic position on marriage and the Muslim position on sexuality.
Face it Democrats, you've become ideological hostages of the iden y politics You've played for all these years. You've pandered for their votes and they're calling in their markers. Now, it's the gay activists. Tomorrow, the Brady Bunch.
Why would gun control be any different? And that's the connection.
And, right on cue...
Democratic senators offer gun control amendment for cybersecurity bill
Face it Republicans, you've been waiting for the chance to play the victim.
that's not a connection
you wanna know how I know they want to take my guns? you wanna know? cuz they wanna give the gays the right to marry each other? what's next marrying your dog? outlawing shotguns?
is anyone else able to connect the dots? lol
Chick-fil-A is not a church last time I checked. People know when they give money to a church what that church proclaims. Many people did not know that the owner of Chick-fil-A was taking the money he makes off people buying chicken to give millions of dollars to fight same-sex marriage. It seems pretty reasonable that some might be upset to find out that their money indirectly is supporting something they oppose.Do I think Rahm Emmanuel and that Menino idiot in Boston are outraged at Chick-fil-A's position on marriage? No. If that were the case, they'd be outraged at the Catholic position on marriage and the Muslim position on sexuality.
How about if some business at which you shop is sending millions of dollars to fight gun ownership? You still want to shop there?
Yoni has new cause, ankle-biting as always.
What the mayors have done isn't illegal, and that's all that counts in USA, no matter how unethical, immoral, or distasteful an action is.
Suck it, Yoni.

I'm starting to think that Republicans secretly want to give their guns away based on how much they go on about it. No one in power is talking about taking them, and the only legislation Obama has passed on the matter expanded gun rights, even though he had a super majority for two years.
lol no one wants your guns
The only reason why the Democrats haven't been pushing anti-gun legislation that would never pass is because the UN tried to cir vent our sovereignty with an anti-gun treaty, tbh.... Thankfully, it got struck down....
so no one is trying to take away anyone's guns.... yet that's what the GOP is trying to scare..errrr I mean sell to their base..
I defend Chick-fil-a, but also support gun control.
....that was a........S----T----R----E----C-----H.
Just because they both require ingredients, a recipe, and an oven doesn't mean a turducken is an apple pie.
It's the incremental method to which I referred.
You say no one is trying to take guns out of the hands of law-abiding Americans yet, in 1996, the size of the population in favor of same-sex marriage roughly mirrored the current size of the population that does, indeed, want to take all guns out of the hands of law-abiding Americans.
To deny there are radical anti-gun groups, in the mold of radical same-sex marriage groups is willful ignorance.
lol all guns
You're so....
....full of....
.... .
radical same-sex marriage groups
Yoni, you just can't accept that your guns don't matter and the government doesn't give a . You and the other guns nuts need to take some of Pop's advice and get over yourselves....
Scalia: Guns May be Regulated
Last time I checked, Justice Scalia was at the highest levels of our government and, yet, he seems to give a .
Guns are regulated? Who knew? So are motor vehicles, prescription drugs, airplanes, etc. Doesn't mean they're going to be banned.
regulating gun sales and ownership doesn't mean DENYing gun sales and ownership, a distinction NRA shills and gun fetishists like Yoni always fail to make in their bubba-simplistic, emotional, inflammatory propagandizing and sloganeering.

A penalty is a tax? Who knew?
There are plenty of legit issues you can complain about as a Republican, but this is not one of them. Democrats ain't touching the gun issue because it would cost them to many votes in swing states. , they won't even re-up the assault weapons ban even though police departments across the nation are practically begging for it.
Complain about economics, health care, social issues, whatever, but if you complain about guns you are only going to get ridiculed.
the Supreme Court
What do you think a tariff is? A penalty tax that's designed to influence decisions.
the 2nd amendment has survived a number of social remedies that yoni hates, like: slavery being abolished, blacks being allowed to vote, women being allowed to vote, interracial marriage, etc. I'm sure it will survive gay marriage as well.
It may all be moot.
The End of Gun Control?
To be accurate, HaveBlue didn’t print an entire gun, he printed a “receiver” for an AR-15 (better known as the military’s M16) at a cost of about $30 worth of materials.
The receiver is, in effect, the framework of a gun and holds the barrel and all of the other parts in place. It’s also the part of the gun that is technically, according to US law, the actual gun and carries the serial number.
When the weapon was assembled with the printed receiver HaveBlue reported he fired 200 rounds and it operated perfectly.
LOL not actually paying attention to the facts and instead listening to stupid chain letter quality memes.
