    House Republican Bill Would Fast-Track Tax Cuts For The Wealthy And Corporations

    (1) a consolidation of the current 6 individual income tax brackets into not more than two brackets of 10 and not more than 25 percent;

    (2) a reduction in the corporate tax rate to not greater than 25 percent;

    (3) a repeal of the Alternative Minimum Tax;

    (4) a broadening of the tax base to maintain revenue between 18 and 19 percent of the economy; and

    (5) a change from a ‘‘worldwide’’ to a ‘‘territorial’’ system of taxation.

    http://thinkprogress.org/economy/201...t-track-taxes/

    Class warfare: increasing wealth (political power) to the 1% while decreasing wealth for the 99%.

    Repugs are really all for raising taxes, as long as it's not on themselves and the 1%.

    That's why we need Ron Paul da gawd in the White House, to lower and even eliminate some taxes for the 99% and cut wasteful spending, tbh....

    Gotta love the fact that every later generation is eventually going to pay taxes out the ass to make up for the baby boomer tax holiday of the past 30 years.

    The annual budgets were just about in balance (no increase in national debt), in fact there was a huge surplus as dubya and head took office. They then Repugs started misgoverning, and pushing hard the VRWC policy of cutting taxes dramatically (required reconciliation in the Senate) and spending on wars and buying votes (medicare Part D + Advantage). result?

    dubya, as result of Repug/conservatives policies, tripled the national debt which they, and other ignorant s here, now blame exclusively on the Dems.

    If Ann Romney can't deduct her dressage related expenses, then we may as well be living in Nazi Germany.

    She deducts nearly $80K for her precious horse, while the 99% can deduct only $1000 for a dependent kid.

    And you're willing to live in a country that's no longer free in order to change that?

    the 99% of "the country" understands how such luxuary amusement allowances are fundamentally unfair, but the disenfranchised 99% has no say anymore.

    The 1% runs the country for its own enrichment, owning and operating the legislators, regulators, enforcers.

    We need the rich to stay rich. If the rich can't afford their car elevators, then who's going to buy car elevators? Poor People? An entire industry will go down in flames. Is that what you want?

    And Obama was a bill-passing machine before he was elected President? Funny, I seem to recall reading that he'd vote "present" most of the time, tbh...

    And, when he wasn't voting present, he was building the most liberal voting record in the Senate. , he was even scored to the left of avowed Socialist Bernie Sanders.

    At least Paul has the balls to vote no on bills he fundamentally disagrees with, instead of voting yes in exchange for special interest favors or voting present like a pussy....

    Remember when he abolished the 2nd amendment just like the NRA said he would?

    I think -- and we can both look up the stories -- he mostly voted present (and it was quite a few times) on issues he was unwilling to reveal his true ideological stance because it would have jeopardized his run for the White House.

    As it was, he still managed to out-Social Bernie Sanders -- no small feat.

    How much you want to be he doesn't? Oh, you're probably not the betting type now or ever... That makes sense. That makes a lot of sense.

    He voted present close to 3% of the time. Facts suck when you don't live in reality, don't they?

    I think he'd like nothing more than to abolish the 2nd amendment. Well, okay, there are probably a few things he'd like more.

    I bet you think he also hates white people -- just like Glenn Beck said! I bet you think he'd like nothing more than to abolish them too!

    No, I've never thought that. Isn't he from a mixed-race family and doesn't he have white relatives? Wasn't the grandmother he loved so much white?

    Sorry, I'm not familiar enough with Glenn Beck's bloviating on much to know why he would have that opinion or if he even said it.

    His mom is white! But who cares? This guy wants to abolish the 2nd amendment! He isn't thinking rationally, isn't that right, Yoni?
