Book bombs : Obama canceled Bin Laden ‘kill’ raid three times at Jarrett’s urging
So, on a military decision most of us have already conceded was a no-brainer, President Barack Obama was talked out of the Abbottabad raid three times by Valerie Jarrett? I wasn't aware she was one of the President's military advisors.
And, the book actually suggests he wavered a fourth time before pulling the trigger on the raid.
Obama administration officials also said after the raid that the president had delayed giving the order to kill the arch-terrorist the day before the operation was carried out, in what turned out to be his fourth moment of indecision. At the time, the White House blamed the delay on unfavorable weather conditions near bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan.
But when Miniter obtained that day’s weather reports from the U.S. Air Force Combat Meteorological Center, he said, they showed ideal conditions for the SEALs to carry out their orders.

Obama should have put up the Mission Accomplished banner
er is dead. One of the few good things Barry actually got done, also one of the few things were he differed from dubya.
He did, and he's been ing the ball ever since...whenever he get's the opportunity.
C'mon; it's all we ing here when you ask what Obama has accomplished in the past 3 and half years.
HE KILLED OSAMA BIN LADEN! That's what he did.
Now we find out, he didn't really even want to do that.
George W. Bush built the intelligence infrastructure that allowed President Obama to even give the signal on that raid -- an intelligence infrastructure for which candidate Obama spent the 2008 campaign vilifying President Bush.
Do you think for one moment that if President George W. Bush had had the opportunity to kill or capture Osama bin Laden, during his administration, he would have let some hack political czar (or whatever Jarrett is/was) talk him out of it?
You're dreaming.
Apparently, it was difficult enough to locate and kill the er that dubya couldn't do it. These are things we know.
I'm sure OBL rotting corpse feels better now that unnamed sources claim there were "3 or 4" indecisions before pulling the trigger... crofl
But I can tell that the fact Barry got it done really upsets you... carry on.
President Obama didn't locate or kill Osama bin Laden either. He was completely reliant on an intelligence mechanism he railed against and his predecessor left him. These are the things we know.
And, now, it appears he had some hesitation when the opportunity did finally present itself.
A former member of Seal Team Six has started a PAC to defeat their current Commander-in-Chief because he sucks eggs on this topic.
I couldn't be happier that bin Laden is dead. I give Obama full credit for making the call that resulted in his death. It just doesn't appear it was as gutsy as the administration would have liked us to believe. Thank God reason finally overrode political consideration.
I'm not saying it's not true and it seems to be in character, but I don't find "unnamed sources" particularly credible.
kill or not kill OBL, Yoni would have deNIGRAted Obama no matter what.
If only Yoni's boy dubya had hesitated in an abundance of caution before invading Iraq...
Miniter has a good reputation but, I agree it's unconfirmed.
If you were whistle-blowing on Obama, would you want to be named?
Dude, they definitely killed Bin Laden.
Obama will release the pictures of dead Bin Laden right before the election. Count on it.
I disagree with his alleged hesitancy diminishing in the least the final outcome.
If there are any bright spots about this administration, and there are very few, that is certainly one. One only has to wonder how much dubya wanted to be the guy that broke those news, and should it have been him, Yoni would be clamoring for his head to be added to Mt Rushmore... such is the life of political water boys...
I wouldn't doubt it.
The kidney failure/dialysis was never verified. IMHO it was more wishful thinking.
I'm surprised the CIA wasn't consulting you for advice at the time since you seem to know more about Osama's wearabouts in 2002 than just about anyone who was looking for him![]()
Alex Jones believing it is all the verification it needs.
we'll see. it could happen. people voting in November probably can't remember all the way back to April of the same year.

Osama must have used a stunt double for the video he filmed in 2004 tbh.
Cnspiracy the
ry
So he filmed the video before his alleged death in 2002 and somehow knew at the time that it would be Kerry running against Bush in 2004?
you can't make this stuff up
I didn't think I needed to seeing that you're so well informed as to the truth about Bin Laden during the 2002-2011 period. Someone who feels so strongly that Bin Laden died in 2002 shouldn't need help knowing what was said in a speech Bin Laden allegedly made in 2004.
So when did he die? 2002? 2004? I thought it was "common knowledge" Osama was terminally ill in 2002.
