Rented a 4 door T-top wrangler and a kayak for the week...did a lot of reef exploring with the kayak out in front of the condo.

Did you hit up Haunama Bay? Or did you try to hit non touristy spots? Did you go hiking and see any of the falls?

I tried to miss the touristy spots but had to accommodate the wife/daughter some...

Skipped Haunama...I didn't think it could possibly be better than Sharks Cove...did Lanikai beach one day and Wakiki on the last day after Pearl Harbor...they were actually shooting a scene from Hawaii Five-O at the bar/restaurant in Wakiki where I was slamming Longboards in and eating Poku as we waited to go to the airport (didn't leave till after 11pm)...made my daughters trip...

Yeah, some of the military people have been on that show as extras.

Did you get to Pearl Harbor?

Maunawili Falls has a better swimming spot... and a 40 foot ledge you can jump from

Yeah, did the Air Museum and the Arizona Memorial. Didn't do the Missouri or the sub. The Air Museum was a little underwhelming. Really weird they didn't have a Corsair at the air museum since it was their top line WWII fighter in the Pacific.

You're talking about the one on Ford Island, correct? Yes, it's a bit...meh. Well I'm glad you had a good time visiting. Did you find a good watering hole here? I'm partial to Pint + Jigger when I get a chance to go out.

The only bar I hung out in while in town was the Hilton Tropics Bar there on Wakiki Beach. That's where I was slamming draft Longboards and eating Poku and seared Ahi at the bar.

You should see it UNDERWATER...I had used up the battery on my Hero2 before I got there at Laniakea doing underwater shots of the green sea turtles...I got some really good video...I just got the Hero2 and like the video but was bummed at the battery life...they advertise 2 1/2 hours at 1080p but I was getting more like 1 1/4 hours.
