you guys just be stupid to root for either side in the first place unless you do have a big penchant for tennis and a long time crush for this player. they're "representing" their countries in olympic games but most of the golds were won by their individual efforts, you don't have to root for them just because they're from your country, or hate someone who was from your country but playing for another country. just root for the best athletes and enjoy the olympics whoever wins.

I have to agree, ultimately sport is completely irrelevant compared to real world things like war. While I want Australia to get golds (seems impossible), I hate to see arrogant idiots win, no matter which country they come from.
