Considering the fact that "que" isn't a word in English and looks stupid in that context when another word was clearly intended, I sympathize with the pain it inflicts on people who care about saying the right thing.
It's a very very common error, especially since there is another word that is pronounced the same, but means something different (queue). I didn't call you a dumbass, I wasn't rude about it, just accept it and move on.
Oh, I will get rude though if you ever use the hackneyed construct "conversate". That one is my pet peeve.

The stuff we learn on other planets may help us fix stuff here. Or, at the very least, help up develop and "ark" to which a colony could be sent, in an effort to perpetuate our species...just in case we can't fix stuff here.
