Now I am one who, because of tradition, does not want "Merry Christmas" to be replaced by anything else. That said, Christmas is not Jesus' birthday.
The Christians are guilty of theft. Christmas was invented by authoritarians about 300 AD to replace the Pagans' winter solstice celebrations with something to convert them with.
I forget the passage, or exact quote, but somewhere in the Bible, it specifically says not to dress up a tree like the pagans do.
I respect Christians, but the faith was hijacked long ago, and few Christians really know what Christianity is suppose to be.

Scripture indicates it would have been sometime in the spring, but I don't recall seeing anything with a definite date. I have seen something in the past indicating possible celestial alignments that gave clue to a possible date, but nothing exacting.
I'd be curious of that reference if it's not to much work for you.

Yeah you should go by markers from the book where they came up with the earth being 6000 years old. The 4 gospels diverge so significantly from how many thieves were saved to how judas was killed to who was the ruler at the time of jesus' birth. it's so incredibly full of .
