lol pinked ing got
The Rams haven't won their first road game in over 10 years, in the last 10 years they are 2-8 in season openers.
I'm loading up on that "spot". In the NFL it is all about scheduling dynamics and particular "spots" where teams perform a certain way from an historical perspective.
I won't be playing any other games, so it's lay whatever the points are and back Detroit. I'll play 550 to win 500. There is no stronger play in week one.
Obviously you wait until the day before the game.

Now I'll just have to leech off others like you do, not good!
No way I could play what MJD is playing with football games being played. I'm just not that greedy.
Why am I all you do?
Poor little guy, I'm actually starting to feel sorry for him.
I'm not just saying this because they are my team (yes I bought them) but so far (not that it's real early) the best looking team....Niners! They just look good. A lot of big impressive looking guys, a lot of speed, crisp, up beat, team speed.
If they don't sustain some injuries they stand as good as chance as anyone of winning the NFC. Yes they should lose their opener in Green Bay but after that...........
With that defense, best special teams in the league, they don't (except Williams) turn it over, they don't need agreat QB. Alex Smith is all they need.
Since I can't post threads.
I'm going to list what I think is the best that team can hope for realistically.

Not wanting to get too carried away in the O.J thread with "my" videos.

Yes it is a passing league but...

Peyton had 3 TDs, 7 INT, a 70.5 rating, and 6.76 Y/A in his 2006 run. But won the SB because his defense and running stepped up and carried him.
Tom won in 2001 despite putting up 1 TD, 1 INT, 572 yards, a 77.3 rating, and 5.90 Y/A in the playoffs. His 2003 playoff numbers were better, but still not great... 59.5%, 792 yards, 5 TDs, 2 INT, 84.5 rating, and 6.29 Y/A.
Ben won a SB in 2005 with a regular season of just 62.7%, 2385 yards, 17 TDs, and 9 INT. He then did it again in 2008 with an even worse season... 59.9%, 3301 yards, 17 TDs, and 15 INT.
Eli also made it to the SB in 2007 despite having a poor regular season. 56.1%, 3336 yards, 23 TDS, 20 INT, a 73.9 rating, and 6.31 Y/A. Now his numbers in the playoffs were better, but not really that great outside his TD/INT ratio.
/post.
