Denver and Philly both did well. I love afflalo. He Jrue, Love and Russ is the best of teh recent UCLA grads.
Yeah, it's the Magic who lose the trade.

Denver gets a defender who should complement McNugget's shot blocking (and planking) skills. Philly should get into compe ion with Boston for Atlantic Division (and Bynum and Kwame are teammates again! Woo!)

    Off-season Power Rankings:

    1. Heat
    2. OKC
    3. Lakers
    4. Celtics
    5. Spurs, Sixers, Pacers, Nuggs and Nets

But I think we have a shot at#2
I'd put OKC below Lakers and Celtics, tbh... They did nothing except sign Thabeet.

With moves like this there's always a team that ends up looking like fools....

Everyone did a well in this trade except for ORL. The same idiots that loved the CP3 to Lakers deal will probably give this idiot a medal.
Though we argued I NEVER loved either CP3 trade. I thought the Hornets could of gotten more and the Magic could of too.

But apparently the magic dust in the Laker's magic wand is rubbing off on our re ed little brother ...

Probably because of their drafting, but yeah, I wouldn't put them that high.

Not ranking their moves, so maybe I worded it wrong. It's really pre-season power rankings.

A straight up Bynum for Howard trade is almost too good to be true, tbh. I mean, Dwight isn't a HUGE improvement over Bynum, but he will make Lakers even more money which will translate to being able on luxury taxes.

Mitch should get a fat bonus in his paycheck if this went though.
Bynum has the tools to be great but his main problem is inconsistency and his "I don't give a " at ude. On the other hand, Dwight's effort is always there, on both ends and every game and that's the type of players you want in a playoff run.

If the deal goes through, i'm looking forward to see what Bynum does as a 1st option in a weak ass eastern conference tbh.

As for Mitch, he officially reached PIMP status

If this is as reported, obviously a great deal for the Lakers. Mitch does it again.

In that case, I'd agree with you. Heat and Thunder still have the best chance at making it back to the finals, but this move and Nash have definitely bolstered the Lakers. I wouldn't put the Celtics that high personally, but their new youth will definitely help them. Solid list.

Celts I know maybe a little high. But they came off a run to the ECF and added Terry and Courtney Lee to replcae a pissy ass Ray Allen and a injured Avery Bradley. They are proven have a good coach and added some quality youth as well. I hate them ers but respect them.

If this deal goes through, props to the Lakers. They MIGHT get to be the team to have the honor to share the court with the Heat when they repeat as champions.

Read the thread should of said "pre-season" but regardless never said I was ranking their moves. I did say "POWER" rankings which I thought would be obvious ... my mistake.

The Lakers ed up by bring in Mike Brown. Bynum had to go after the he pulled last year. If they could move the 30 million dollar boat anchor they might make a run but it's not going to happen with that tired ass team.

They keep throwing teams together, totally changing the landscape and expecting a good result in the 1st year. You need a really super team to get that, and they don't have one. DHoward deal isn't even close to the Shaq move, and it's not even as good as the Pau Gasol move given the rest of the team and coach.

Bynum will dominate the east, tbh. He doesn't have to deal with Howard, McGoo, Blake/Jordan, etc for more than twice a season.

He's gonna re-up because he ain't getting that kind of endorsement money anywhere else, and he can get to be franchise guy once Kobrik walks.

He could in Brooklyn if he feels overshadowed by Kobe's presence.
