The thing is we are all individuals. Yes some can maintain their weight eating one meal a day and as I said I only do that 5 days not seven. And I do have that blended drink at night.

No, one cannot maintain their weight if they weigh 280 pounds and eat one small ass meal everyday. You are not special. You do not defy the laws of physics.

Funny you'd mention that. I have been on these oine meal thing for 10 years, I go between 275-285. I'd never thought about any of the stuff brought up here. It is becoming pretty clear that if I did eat normally I would be in that 300 pound range.
I started thinking that maybe there is some tyroid situation at play here.

I have a feeling if you ate the same amount of food, but in four our five meals instead of one, your body would maintain a healthier weight.
Still, sometimes the thyroid is the problem. If you haven't had the various thyroid hormone levels checked, you should.

The simplest thing to do would be to give an estimate of your calories in vs calories out. I find it unlikely that anyone with an active lifestyle as you claim to have could subsist on such a diet.
