DD, did my fantasy draft for my first money league (hate drafting this early), but wanted to see what you think. I am not thrilled with it because I took so many risks, but it at least has solid potential IMO.

    10 team league, QB, RB, RB, W/TE, W/TE, W/TE, W/R/TE, K, DEF, BEN (5)

    Passing TD: 3
    Rushing/Receiving TD: 6
Throwing: 1 point per 20 yards, 3 point bonus for 300+
    Rushing/Receiving: 1 point per 10 yards, 3 point bonus for 300+

    My team:

QB: Philip Rivers, Jay Cutler & Carson Palmer
RB: Matt Forte, Darren McFadden, Ryan Matthews, CJ Spiller & Donald Brown
WR: Miles Austin, Percy Harvin, DeSean Jackson, Denarius Moore & Greg Little
    K: Sebastian Janikowski
    DEF: Buffalo Bills

Only huge mistake I think I made was taking Rivers in the fourth round. I had the 10th pick in the draft and there was a bit of a run on QB's so I wanted to grab who I thought was best available there, but I think he would have fallen to me on the turn around.

Ya, but you were just terribly wrong last year. Also calling someone who finished first place in the regular season and made it to the finals "a run of luck". But I know you always start with the terrible trolling bads, only to eventually come around and act normal. So I will just ignore your first 5-7 replies, then take you serious.

    It happens to the best.

so you didn't add/drop at all at any point during the season?

I know you will still be sensitive at reply #8.

Not that I think it's right or cool, but I can understand why people who are not that patient make fun of you.

You can't just add/drop your way to a first place finish and the finals by add/dropping. You have to have a good draft to have a chance in order to make value trades and elevate your team by adding waiver players.

I didn't want to be forced into taking Matthews, but I felt in the last pick of the third it was a good value. Definitely not thrilled, but he has potential to really go off if he can ever get/stay healthy (big if). I think my RB's (even though injury concers like all RB's pretty much) are pretty damn solid though.

I don't think it's right or cool that people make fun of you for being so ing short, tbh.

You being sensitive though, is fair game.

Actually you can. In most of the leagues I was in a couple of years back, the guy that picked up Vick off the FA list rode him to the finals.

It's not at all uncommon for the guy with the mediocre, even crappy draft, to strike gold in the FA list.

If I really thought you would take me serious and I felt like being serious, I would tell you in reply #8 why drafting a guy in the 3rd round that will sit for 6-7 weeks is stupid.

You seem to be getting really upset . Blake, I'm not the guy that makes fun of you for the terrible things you had control over in your life. Thats not cool. Being short is out of my control - so them making fun of me for that is similar to how friends make fun of you. I highly doubt friends make fun of the things that happened to you like those on here do.

I could just as easily spout off a random throw away line like you are being sensitive. The fact you keep trying to sling mud out of no where when no one asked for your opinion would lead you to believe you are sensitive from all the years of abuse on here - but I am not your tormentor.

Actually no, if your team completely sucks ass (like you initally tried to troll me with), getting one star off waivers doesn't keep you in first all year and get you to a final. If I add just one more star to my team that you say sucks would you say I am now a legit favorite ?

Oh, so you evaluated Ryan and got some new information:

    http://m.espn.go.com/nfl/story?storyId=8254382

So only someone being really sensitive over getting made fun of for stupid trolling and about their personal life would feel the need to stretch the truth.

    I agree.

Of course, the difference here is that what happened to me was just a temporary thing that I'm way past.

you just did spount a throw away line above about me being upset barely 5 sentences ago.

You posted your team on a public messageboard for an opinion. By default, you asked for my opinion. You then went off when I criticized your team.

Stop being so sensitive about my opinion. I am not your tormentor.

Why would I call you a legit favorite if I also say the star you just picked up sucks?

But yeah, you can easily pick up several solid starters during the course of the season to get you over. Not uncommon.

So it's 4-6 weeks roughly from today. K, I misread it. I briefly saw it and thought the story meant 4-6 weeks of the regular season.

I haven't done any real research yet because I hate drafting this early too. I think it's stupid. Especially for money.

"I mis-read it". Just say you were talking out of your ass, sounding like an idiot and let it go.

Now you want to put the date of the draft on trial instead of just admitting you lied to try and prove a point because it means a lot to you.

Oh great - here comes M>S thinking about me again. Dude can just not let anything go and has to go the route of teaming up with Shemale Porn Guy and Blake because his hate runs so deep. Now Blake is going to act like there is some sort of e-victory because M>S chimed in unsolicited.

When he's not talking about weiners and foreskin or arguing about how to join a bank , he's trying to find me.

I make a post about fantasy and M>S has to come in with his arguing bullsh*t like the complete dummy he is.

I'm sure M>S is frantically trying to find my picture so he can post it and win the internet!

What it looks like to me is that Blake learned a thing or 2 about cucking in the past and has found himself a new victim. That^ post has all the earmarks of someone who is mad. Random throwaway lines about foreskins to change the subject, false accusations, lengthy ranting, and having to go back and editing the mistakes you made while you were on that Napoleonic rampage.

Ha ha, I'm just here to talk fantasy football. I suck, is there still a spot open? You guys can take turns kicking my ass and I won't even get mad, it's time I got back into football.

Deep, first off i hate tbat passing td's are only worth 3 in your league. Some leagues have them worth 4. It cheapens the game, imo, which is why every league i play in has them worth 6.

All that aside, Rivers is a great starter and i have Cutler as a major sleeper--especially with the additions of Marshall and Jeffery. You're good at QB.

Contrary to popular opinion, i love your rbs--especially if DMaC and Forte can remain healthy. Spiller was a fantasy monster the last half of last year, and all reports out of Buffalo are that he'll receive greater than 50% of the touches in Buffalos backfield this season.

Kicker is solid and on paper Buffalo's D should be great. I'm not crazy about your wr's, since most of them are homerun hitters. Harvin is tremendous in a ppr league, but is devalued in non-ppr. Do you have a tight end position?

All in all you did pretty well.

meh. M>S just learned yesterday about the complicated ways of closing a ”bank account” and opening a ” credit union” account, so his validation means nothing.

Even then, e-victories speak for themselves.

Ya, WR's are definitely weaker & really only Blake thought my RB's were terrible. My thought process was that if you are going to have to be weak at one position, WR is the place to be because there are a lot more good WR's that are somewhat reliable than RB's...

They aren't great, but defintely will be solid I think so I might look to upgrade my WR core but don't think I have to. What did you think about Matthews pick at the end of the 3rd? Wasn't thrilled about it, but I felt that even with the injury getting him as my 3rd back (since we can start 3) was too much to pass on.

I wish I would have taken a WR instead of Rivers because I think he would have been there at the end of the 5th for me, but oh well. TE position is in our league, but it's with the WR spots so it's either/or. Didn't feel any TE's after the big names were worth getting over my WR's.
