I have a massive dilemma, tbh. I play in a ppr league and have to choose from Megatron, Welker, or Brees as my keeper. I lost in the finals last year to a guy who started Big Ben, so my thinking is that i could keep Calvin and draft a Cutler, Stafford, or other QB in a later round. Thoughts?

Posters lying to try to make others look bad or stupid never ends well.

Stop being so sensitive and it might help you to be less of an insecure .
You realize you lied though, not me? I am not being sensitive at all, I'm telling you using the same shtick you did last year was stupid. Had nothing to do with me actually being upset at what you said about my team since it was obvious you were trolling.

^hey, guy. don't put me down to prove a point. we can all agree here that dpg is a got.
It was funny. Even though Manny was acting like a about it, just own it and move on.

And yes, dpg is being a sensitive .

Ya, WR's are definitely weaker & really only Blake thought my RB's were terrible. My thought process was that if you are going to have to be weak at one position, WR is the place to be because there are a lot more good WR's that are somewhat reliable than RB's...

They aren't great, but defintely will be solid I think so I might look to upgrade my WR core but don't think I have to. What did you think about Matthews pick at the end of the 3rd? Wasn't thrilled about it, but I felt that even with the injury getting him as my 3rd back (since we can start 3) was too much to pass on.

I wish I would have taken a WR instead of Rivers because I think he would have been there at the end of the 5th for me, but oh well. TE position is in our league, but it's with the WR spots so it's either/or. Didn't feel any TE's after the big names were worth getting over my WR's.
I'm not crazy about the Mathews pick b/c you ended up with 3 other stud rbs, but it could pay dividends if he can stay on the field. Does your waiver wire start right after the draft? If so, look at picking up a guy like Coby Fleener from Indy. He was Luck's fav target at Stanford and is sure to figure in the passing game at indy. Another sleeper is Pierre Garcon from the Redskins. RG3 has taken a shine to him--and although he's not great--he's clearly RG3's fav weapon, which makes him valuable.

I would probably keep Calvin for that exact reason. I think Calvin is more valuable and there are a lot of other quality QB's.

Well Spiller is not a guaranteed stud, but for a fourth back, he's defintely good risk/reward. Just on value alone though what do you think of it (where I got him)?

I mean, until I see some things shape up, I don't see anyone on waivers would beat my top 3 WR's (Miles, Jackson, Harvin) especially since it's not PPR and these guys are all about yards and hopefully TD"s.

I didn't lie. Its weird to say he's out 6-8 weeks when no real games are being played.

I made a quick faulty assumption that they meant 6-8 weeks into the season.

you really do believe I'm out to get you, don't you.

No - I believe you stretched the truth to prove a point for your argument. He's only out 4-6 and reports coming out that 4 is a good possibility. That's all.

At least you on M>S when he tried bandwagoning you after making fun of you all the time

Normally 3rd rd for Mathews is a steal, especially in your kind of league. Like i said, you could strike gold with him...but the type of injury he suffered (as well as his history) worries me. Time will tell.

There are some guys in my league that really went risky on QB (only drafted Peyton), so my hope is Palmer/Cutler play well and I can move one of them for a solid WR.

Your definition of on is inaccurate at best. He simply didn't want to look weak by accepting help from anyone else in making you look stupid. I shouldn't have said anything at all because he definitely doesn't need any help handling you by the looks of it.

Who knows what Palmer will do, but I honestly believe Cutler will kill it this year. If that team stays healthy they can contend--i honestly believe that. They are my NFC sleeper.

Palmer I got in the 14th round and I think for his upside it was too good not to roster him. I think he has potential for 3800 yds & 25 TD's. He was drafted either as my number 2 if Cutler busts (but Cutler is my number 2 to start the season) or a trade piece. We'll see and for now that is not that important.

Again, I simply mis-read it the first time I saw it, thinking it meant he could possibly be out the first 4-6 weeks of the season. How would I have proven my point if Mathews comes back by week 3 at worst?

I believe you believe I'm only out to troll you or get you because it's you.

How would it have proven your point of "lol Ryan Matthews" if he was out the first 6-7 weeks of the season (which is how I know you are lying, no reports said 6-7 weeks, they all said 4-6 weeks), vs just 4-6 weeks from now? That should be fairly obvious and I don't get why you keep lying about it.

You clearly said 6-7 weeks to try and stretch the truth when there is no way you could have mis-read that when nothing said 6-7 weeks. It was all 4-6 weeks. If you would have said "he's missing the first 4-6 weeks of the season", ok, I could get that mistake maybe,,but you didn't. You said 6-7 weeks. You were lying. It's not a big deal, but you tried trolling me the exact same way last year on the exact same thing .

You can keep saying random names and lying, but it's just weird you get so mad when it's easy to poke holes in your trolling.

    your RBs are weak, imo.

    lol Ryan Mathews

If I really thought you would take me serious and I felt like being serious, I would tell you in reply #8 why drafting a guy in the 3rd round that will sit for 6-7 weeks is stupid.

So it's 4-6 weeks roughly from today. K, I misread it. I briefly saw it and thought the story meant 4-6 weeks of the regular season.

I haven't done any real research yet because I hate drafting this early too. I think it's stupid. Especially for money.

Missing 6 weeks is missing too much of the season, especially for a third rounder. You can get by with him missing the first two, especially because there aren't any byes in week 1(and 2?) and any RB you have will be available.

I mis-read the number of weeks out start now and misremembered the numbers.

You busted me being sloppy. My lol Mathews was a fail. But there was no lying.

you can keep saying page after page after page how you busted me on a terrible troll job, that I'm lying and it's no big deal.

It's really no big deal to me. I find your insecurity amusing. No lie.

Bears are in sick bro. Always a quality defense, and before Cutler went down last year he was looking to be emerging as a top 10 QB. They will be in the playoffs this year if they stay healthy.

    I'm cunneater, btw

Ya, I was happy to pick up Cutler as my QB2 (even though he always flashes potential then lets you down), so I will be interested to see how the Bears come together. They are primed for a monster year in theory.

Marshall is about to emerge as a top 3 WR, which I've actually been saying for a few seasons now tbh.

IMO the top 5 right now are (in this order):

    Calvin
    Fitz
    Andre*
    Marshall
    Nicks

    *When healthy

Meanwhile the top 5 most overrated receivers are:

    Wes Welker
    Victor Cruz
    Jordy Nelson
    DeSpook Jackson
Julio Jones (mostly due to the hype he has going into this season)

Can't really argue with this...really like putting Nicks in the top 5, it seems he gets underrated. Marshall can be a headcase but no doubt his talent in unmatched by almost every corner.

Welker I think pretty much everyone knows what he is at this point.

Cruz? I know once the playoffs rolled around it was Nicks making big plays, but what is your criteria for this one?

I think you might regret putting Jones on the overrated list man....I know he has a ton of hype going into the year but I haven't seen anything that would make me think he's not worthy of it right now. He put up 959 yards/8 TD in just 13 games as a rookie, and that's including games where he had 16, 9 and 0 yards because of injury. That's 934 yards in 10 games. Health is clearly a concern, but damn I think he's in for a monster year.

I took Julio pretty high (in relation to where he has been going) yesterday in a draft. He is about to on some scros.
