He makes a valid point and I'm guessing that's why you didn't have to say about it. Why would you come to a sports forum and make 20,000 posts about everything EXCEPT sports?
For one thing, I have talked about sports here over the years, even though I'll admit it hasn't been my primary topic. During my first few years posting here, I was very active on a different Kings message board and got most of the sports talk out of my system over there, but stayed active here primarily because the Kings board didn't have anything like the Club or Politics forums. Additionally, when I went back to school, a combination of less free time and moving to a city that had almost no local basketball coverage and no League Pass option has meant that over the last five years I haven't been able to follow basketball or any other sports as closely as I would like.
For another thing, SpursTalk is not exclusively a sports forum.
Lastly, why do you even care?

Dude you should know I root for nation above club affiliations after seeing me in the other sports forum. I'm a really big national homer. With my clubs I can be rational, but when its the national team I go over the top and I love it.
