need lots of good defensive backs too. maybe they won't be as bad as i think but indy's secondary is probably a free 300 yard day to any good qb this year.
No matter how good Luck is I don't think JT or anyone else in this thread is saying the Colts are gonna be good this year, just that Luck looked good last week (which he unquestionably did).
IMO, if they're bad enough this year where they can draft Lotulelei that'll help them a lot since Mathis and Freeney will be a lot more effective at OLB if they add a swole nose tackle.

You sound a little rustled about the fact that Bradford and his glass shoulder won't be able to become the GOAT like Luck will be.
What glass shoulder? You mean the shoulder that's been uninjured since '09 ? That shoulder?
whos u foolin wit dat boolshiit? we finna c wut bout ta go down wen i hit ma homies deep all game.
Watching the replay of the Colts-Rams game on NFLN...holy Luck has a gun.
Gee thanks mister!
somebody in another thread just said there was no hope for you
how do you respond?
btw, your subway commercials are swell![]()
Colts @ Steelers just starting on NBC. Time to see some Luck.
He's impressive. Not afraid to make certain throws that rookies tend to shy away from.
Once he gets chemistry with his receivers and used to NFL speed he's gonna be awesome.
He looks very average right now vs PIT (to be expected against a great defense and on the road). He seems to get fixated on one target and not seeing that second level. That will come.
lol laughing at pro football players who make more money in one year than you will in your entire life.
Thanks man. These guys are crazy and all on steroids, plus they videotaped our practice. No way does Ike Taylor pick me off and run it back ever again in his career.
Disagree...ever since the pick-6 he's had great pocket presence and has been quite impressive. Most rookies would themselves against this D, especially after making a mistake.
Btw, what a beautiful playcall on the goal line there.
Thanks buddy. Coach said to hand it off but I said that noise.
I have it on DVR so I just got to the pick 6.
Alright, so I admit that 50 second drill was very sloppy and I should have just bombed it to the end zone for 60 yards on the first play. But hey, we're WINNING! and that's what really counts right?
Great response by Luck - Donald Brown looking solid this pre-season.
Don Don is a solid player, man. Word on the street around here is that he didn't get much spin before because Peyton didn't want him on the field for this bad blocking skills.
Re media ignorantly posts "2 interceptions" when the one pass was right in the receivers arms open by 8 yards on a blown Steeler assignment. He somehow juggles the ball 10 feet over to the lucky assed Steeler db.
DK why lame assed NFL can't have a stat for "dropped pass" instead of INT.
Lets see, QBs objective is to deliver ball to receiver. He does that perfectly yet gets penalized for receiver screw up?
Colts offensive line and run game is straight garbage. Luck needs to work on getting rid of the ball faster, but that's about the only thing he needs to work on. He'll take a lot of unnecessary sacks this year if he doesn't. Looked great moving around when the pocket broke down yesterday. Kind of weird to see a Colts QB do that. Peyton would have probably been forced into a bad throw or two behind that line, but he also would have adjusted the protections. Not really expecting Luck to master all of that by the third preseason game, but he has some things to work on. Not many though, he's going to be great and soon. Definitely made the right move letting Peyton go.
While I but little into the preseason because of the simple defense played it's very obvious Luck is the real deal. Obviouly he'll never be another Peyton or Johnny U but few are.
Two more drafts, a couple seasons for Luck to get NFL expereince and a couple big free agent signing and the Colts will be contending for a playoff spot.
Luck in Indy is like LeBron in cleveland. One man show
