That's kinda ironic since the Clippers have been the one accustomed to lining up for food stamps while the Lakers always had the banquet, with the expensive steak and wine

I thought Jordan was ok in Space Jam. The script was kind of weak, but Jordan held his own, especially considering it was his first lead role.

lol Clipper fan talking about welfare/food stamps when they have been the benefit of the NBA Lottery and blowing 1st pick(s) overall on the likes of Olowakandi (Bologna) instead of the likes of Nowitzki/Pierce (Ribeye).

Kobe would never go across the hall. It was a power move to get rid of Shaq. You're delusional if you think he'd ever play for the Clipprs.

That would be a disaster in today's "LA, Miami, and NY are all that matter" league, tbh.... not to mention, there's no financial incentive to leave LA, tbh....

You're just bitter. Always has been for the Clipper fan base, consisting of you and Clipper Darrell.

    Clipper Darrell
    shun away by the Clips

What kind of franchise calls out their #1 fan for making money off of them?

    Ignorant of the situation

"It's not fair that the franchise that gives me free season tickets for life and rides on the team plane won't let me also sell bootleg merchandise and endanger their trademarks!"

Notice that his ass never left his seat at Staples regardless, since he'll never give up the attention he gets from being there, tbh....

A franchise that understands how copyright laws work and realizes that they risk losing their trademarks if they don't protect them from illicit use, tbh....

The Clippers got semi-decent and they thought it gave them en lement over everything.

Go fall in line for your food stamps while the Lakers feast at the banquet table.

Of course not. Sterling been leaching off Dr. Buss and the Lakers' success for YEARS. Why stop now?

The Lakers kicked their version of Clipper Darrell, Dancing Barry, to the curb decades ago because he decided they weren't paying him enough, tbh... I guess that's a "slumlord billionaire" move by Jerry Buss?

Dancing Barry! Well, when you only have a handful of fans you shouldn't rid yourselves of the loyalest of them all. The Lakers can afford to jettison some fans here and there--we're an actual Nation not a pretend one.

So you are saying Kobe killed a golden opportunity to be part of a dynasty that would rival the 60s Celtics and 90s Bulls to serve his own ego, only to have management save his butt by:
    1) Drafting Bynum AND KEEPING HIM
    2) Trading peanut wrappings for Pau Gasol
    3) Getting Dwight to save his marriage

Pop isn't asking him for money. No one is en led to anything accept rights, but the fact the guy won't even call is crazy - that's free. Also, the fact you have to ask a guy like Jordan to help is the issue. For the same reason you donate to charity, sometimes it's about doing the right thing.
what are they going to talk about? Pop has severe mental issues. there is nothing for them to talk about.

we don't know the history between MJ and this dude. for some reason his own family won't even deal with him. it should be their responsibility to help, not MJ's.

this old man needs some psychological help at this juncture more than anything and the state has plenty of resources if he so chooses to accept them.
