Healthy Nicks and Eli finishes top 5 in both tbqh. I think Peyton finishes 7-8 in both for this year anyway.
Currently, Yahoo predicts Peyton will throw for more yard and more TDs in 2012.
Who ends up with more of each?
I say Eli in both categories.

Eli has a slightly more pronounced dumb face so I predict he wins both. Plus injury concerns make that a legit possibility too.
It's all about strength of schedule. Who will be coming from behind the most. That most yardage stat has always been misleading. If you are throwing all over the place you are usually behind.
While that may have been true years ago, now teams like GB throw the ball a ton and they usually are not behind.
If you have a lead you are going to chance an INT? Don't you want to run the clock out?
What does that have to do with the question though? Sure, maybe at the end of the game you don't risk it - but throughout the game, teams throw the ball a ton and it doesn't mean they are behind.
Sure it does, you throw when behind, you run when protecting a lead. If the Giants are playing catch up then Eli will throw for a lot of yards, same with Peyton. So it comes down to playing from behind/with a lead.
Lol yeah brees, Brady and Rodgers were playing from behind soo much last year.
Obviously todays NFL is a passing league.....no duh! But if you can run the ball you do a few really good things.
you beat the defense down
you are in third and short more
you are more effective in the red zone
more effective in short yardage situations
you can run out the clock
Talk to any football coach and see what they say about running the ball.
If you can't run you will need a Tom Brady, Aaron Rodges, Drew Brees. Things are so much easier with a balanced attack.
Glad you finally came around.
wtf? why does this guy constantly completely change the topic of nfl threads in order for him to talk about my grandpa's NFL?
Any more of that nonsense and I'll report you to the mod of this forum.
It's how Dallas lost to Detroit, iirc
Would he be able to double pink him?
So you are saying the running game means nothing? So why did the Browns take a running back with their first pick?
That's not what he's saying at all. He's saying, why do you always change the subject in the NFL forum?
And fwiw, Peyton on both accounts.
Who is changing the subject? Whoever "has to" throw the ball more will have the most yards.....obviously!
So you are saying that throwing means nothing for winning teams? Why did the Colts take Luck with their first pick?
Of course not, throwing the ball is todays NFL. What I'm saying is that it is a combination of things, if you are losing the turnover battle, can't stop anyone, suck at special teams it doesn't matter who is playing QB.
The Giants beat the Patriots because they play defense. If it were all about QB play then Peyton Manninng would have 4 Superbowl rings, and no way in Eli is beating Tom Brady...twice.
Look at what Tebow did last season, dude can throw the play???
Yes yes yes and yes we see more passing now that ever, but you better be able to do more than just that.
And when's the last time the Browns were legitimate le contenders again?
My point is it's better to have a balanced attack and if you can run that is a huge plus. If you can't run what do defenses do? Yep, here they come. If you can run and do what do defenses do, yep...lay back guessing.
Trust me I'm well aware of how the game is played today, but we see these teams coming from all kinds of places. The Niners..29th in the league in passing, a couple fumbles away from a SB. The Ravens run better than they throw, a dropped pass from a SB. Denver making it as far as they did with...Tim Tebow??? The Saints with the number one passing attack losing to the number 29th passing attack?
Look at the Eagles. 4th ranked offense, 8th ranked defense and no playoffs.
There is a lot more to winning in the NFL than just throwing the ball around.
nobody wants to read your stupid theories about how teams need running games.
Pick a Manning and be on your way, nut
I apologize. You're right keep it simple and on topic, my bad!
Peyton
So you're saying that in order for a team to be good, they have to be good at everything......wow, you sure know your stuff.
