Playing this right now.... it's pretty good... mix of platform, fighting big bosses, some leveling up...

I'm actually watching the cutscenes/boss fights on youtube, since I never have the time to play these games.......the background story is pretty convoluted tbh.....well of souls, nephilim, etc.....can hardly understand what's going on

It starts simple enough... you're Death, one of the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse, out to save your brosep War, which caused humanity to end and is being judged for that. Basically the plan is to re-start humanity so War is off the hook. The story kinda takes you through places while trying to do that... the Tree of Life, etc. It does get twisty here and there, but the game is pretty good, tbh... some big ass bosses out there... the Guardian one was huge, and a lot of fun to beat.

What's hilarious to me is that you're Death, one of the 4 riders, supposedly one of the most powerful beings in the universe, and yet pretty much every new world you go to you've never heard about it before, and there's some NPC's droping truth bombs on you....like c'mon, you're Death, and you've never heard about the well of souls/tree of life?

that's true... I finally get to the King of the Dead and I was expecting something along the lines of.. "wassup dude, keep sending me more recruits" but instead it's this butthurt dude sending you out to run errands for him...

Yeah, story-wise it's getting sketchier by the minute, but it's more of an action/arcade game, so I can't drag it down because of it.

damn it Nono, Im sick in bed since Yesterday and read this thread so i got this on steam to play, POS is full of glitches, there is a boss ghorn his life meter goes out but he wont die!

so I'm stuck. Reading on the net ps3 also has issues
